COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 10, 2011
0.355l bottle @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours a nice slightly hazy golden/light orange body with a solid creamy head. Aromas strong on the sweet fruity hops, some citrus and pine. Mild and inviting aroma. Mouth feel; Roasted malts, a hint watery, but not to much, medium carbonated, medium to thin bodied. Decent fruity and bitter ending.

On tap. Good IPA. Aromas of grass and caramel. Taste is bitter, with a long finish. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Orange, with a frothy head.

Aroma is hints of floral, and citrus, especially grapefruit. Pours a hazy dark golden or light amber. Light, white, foamy head which dissipates rather quickly. Taste is of medium hops build, less than your typical IPA, but delicious nonetheless. Runs smooth through the palate with a dry finish. Overall, I would recommend this to those who aren’t quite ready for a full bodied IPA. Not a knock on goose, as this is a great drinking IPA.

Golden in color... Aroma is faint, citrusy hops... Flavor is fairly light, piney and citrus hop bitterness... Tastes more like a pale.. Okay at best

Hoppy aroma. Clearish gold in color. Sweet with a light hop balance. A nice "gateway" IPA.

Aroma is good, full of hops.. abrasively in fact. Tastes more citrusy and less hoppy than I imagined. A little thin. Very good IPA.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of thetomG (Secret Santa Winter 10). Pours a clear pale amber color with a medium sized frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. The aroma is loaded with floral hop notes and also has notes of citrus hops, caramel and nutty notes. The taste is bitter leafy and earthy hops, some nutty notes, and a faint citrus hop and caramel finish. Medium bodied. Quite nice.
