COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

One of my favorite IPAs. Extremely hoppy (resin) and very complex (perhaps some caramel) with a dry and bitter finish.

esox (1226) - Oulu, FINLAND - AUG 5, 2011
Pale amber, clear beer. Minimal white head. Somewhat hoppy nose, resiny pint forest, tight citrus, some cantaloupe and green tea. Grainy, slightly worty maltines. Some medium dark caramel and biscuit. Bittrish aftrrtaste has good duration. Surprisingly rich maltiness for such a light beer. Medium bodied, smooth and rich texture. Very good for the strength.

pours a golden to slight copper color with a fluffy head and good lacing. the aroma is critrus, piney, some malt. the flavor is nice and citrus up front followed by a nice malt body and finished with almost a pineapple taste. the palate is a medium to heavier body. overall its is a nice crisp beer with a dry finish, this isnt the best i have ever had but its pretty good for being part of AB.

Very nice. A dry finish to this citrusy, piney beer. Smooth, almost sweet flavor. Pours a nice golden yellow with mid-sized head. Not bad for such a mass-produced beer.

355 ml bottle. Finland.
Cloudy pale golden colour with tiny white head. Very fruity sweetness, sweet caramel malt, peach, pineapple and mild alcohol in aroma. Bitter sweet hops, mild alcohol and grainy floury malt in flavour. Very easy IPA but still not tasteless.

On tap at GI Wrigley pub. Aroma: Floral hops and light pepper, very fresh. Appearance: Gold pour with meidum white foam. Taste: Quite bitter, floral hoppiness and nice refreshing finale. Palate: Full bodied and meidum carbonation. Overall: Good well-made IPA.

Had this on draft at GI-Clybourn in a pint glass. Slightly hazy amber pour. Clean grapefruit finish. Slightly floral on the nose. Nice bitterness but balanced, not overdone. The malt really creates a dry IPA.
