COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lovers dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youll remember.

Part of phaleslus 20 pound box. Hazy amber pour with thick creamy head. Sticky like a mofo. Nose high sweet sharpness of hops. Taste is light and thin, but with a warming sharpness. Sweet.

glennmastrange (2740) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUN 14, 2010
Bottle, Moderate malt note of caramel, moderate pine and grapefruit for the hops, light soap for the yeast with cherry and pepper in the background. Head is small, wispy, white with some lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear amber. Flavor starts lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, a little oily and has a lively carbonation. This has all the components of an excellent IPA.

Poured from 12 oz bottle. Aroma is of a standard hoppy IPA, taste also very good. Its great for a standard IPA and can see this as a gateway for non-craft beer lovers to get into trying things other than mass produced lagers.

Ah afraid this one was a disappointment from a usually reliable brewery. Had it some while back and cant remember the full details. Sweet and smooth but there was just something unpleasant about it. Will be back again for a full review.

Pours a medium to dark golden brown with a thick head. It has a slightly hoppy, almost metallic aroma. The flavor is pretty smooth, with a lot less of a bite than most IPAs.

Appearance is a slightly cloudy/hazy golden color. It has a nice frothy head. This IPA has a nice floral hop aroma. This is a very well balanced IPA with just the right amount of maltiness, not too bitter with a nice finish. Has a nice smooth and silky mouthfeel. Not very much carbonation, but not a bad thing with this one. I really like this one. One of my new favorite IPAs. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 10-16-2009 23:46:12

Dark blonde cloured, pours out with a dense white head, good lacing, lots of carbonation. Strong hoppy aroma, also some fruits and flowerish and herbal. Bitter taste, some carbonation. Fresh, like grapefruit and oranges. Long and bitter finish, also some ginger. NIce one.

Cloudy to mostly clear golden, honey color. Thin white head that dissipated rather quickly. Although, it did leave some lacing on the glass as I sipped. Very prominent, fresh, floral, perfumy hops in the nose was the first characteristic. Had a very slight hint of fruit underlying the floral aroma. The taste had a very pronounced bitterness with a sweet flavor. Very punchy with the bitter aftertaste. Really hangs around on the palate. I Like It!!! Had a mostly thin mouthfeel. To me it was light, crisp and smooth. Easily drinkable. Reminds me of the freshness of spring. Love the bitterness of this brew and the smell was possibly the best aspect of the beer. This beer goes well with the warm spring and summer days.
