COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lovers dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youll remember.

Enough hops aroma to realize it must be an IPA. Flavor is not overly bitter but good hops taste. Enjoyed this one.

The aroma is not pronounced as many of its fellow IPAs tend to have, but it does have a bit of resiny hops, floral esters, and some alcohol and very faint caramel. The appearance is a clean yellow-caramel with a thin white head, that creates a nice lacing down the glass. The taste is a nice balance of caramel, bread, resiny hops, and some alcohol. The palate for an IPA is super smooth. It maintains a medium body, with a thin, semi-oily texture, with a bit of a fizzy carbonation, and a long minor burn from the hops. It is a very good brew, could easily become my favorite "session" IPA. The major disappointment is that its not available in our state. Hopefully, that changes.

Had on draft at Goose Island Brewery, Wrigleyville, Chicago, IL. Pours a hazy orange color with a think white head. Taste is grapefruit, pine, and caramel. Nice easy finish. Another great goose beer.

12 oz bottle from Stateline. Poured a good looking burnt orange hazy body underneath an impressive large frothy super long lasting head. Aroma was a little sweeter then expected with motes of honey, flowers, grassy hops, toffee and bread. The body is spot on with a medium to Fuller mouthfeel, average carbonation and a on lingering aftertaste that comes on after a nice bitter finish. The flavor isnt as sweet as the aroma and the hops are a little more apparent. Notes of resinous hops, grapefruit, dry bread crusts and honey suckle flowers. Pretty good on this 100 day in MD.

Bottle. Pours clear orange and copper with a frothy 1-finger beige head. Aromas of sweet pine and citrus, pineapple, brown sugar, and a touch of alcohol. Flavor is a little bitter: fresh pine with earthy bark and resinous notes, and a nice tropical fruit finish. Crisp, and very refreshing. Really nice.

12oz bottle pours hazy light amber/orange small foamy head. Nice mellow aroma heavy on grapefruit, with pine, soft floral. Taste nice pine/woody taste into bitter with a spicy after taste. A very decent IPA.

Wow! Well done, Goose! 12oz bottle available all over the place packs a fantastic IPA. Pours a cloudy pale orange with yellow edges and a thin resiny head. Aroma is that inviting grapefruit/pine/bread combination found in many others in the style. Flavor is where this brew separates itself from other common shelf bottles. Creamy texture at first brings a great amount of malt (caramel flavor) to balance the moderate hop bite and citrus acidity. As those flavors evolve, the texture dries out and leaves a pleasant finish.

From bottle. Great fresh piney-resin hop aroma with good fruity notes. Rich sweet malt, too, but mostly fresh hops. Hazy orange amber with pillowy foamy white lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts with medium sweetness of malt, ctirus fruit and apricot, followed by great fresh grassy-pine hops. Great balance with mild bitter finish, fruity. Nice IPA with awesome hop flavor but muted bitterness.

This is a fabulous everyday IPA. Pours a light semi-cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is citrus and hop. Taste is a nice light balance of hop bitterness and malt and citrus. Nothing is overpowering, the flavours all strike the palate at the same time and is really quite pleasant. I would drink this everyday if I had the opportunity.
