Got on draught. Pours a slight golden hazy color. Smells very fruity like pear and berries. Has a very fruity taste with a hoppy bitter finish. Aroma is very tasty! jpatrix (14) - Michigan, USA - JUN 25, 2010
Poured from bottle to pint glass shows a light orange/honey color. Light head w/lacey residue. A smokey orange like malt aroma. Light and citrus taste with a leaning to grapefruit flavor and a light grapefruit after taste.
This would be good on a warm afternoon after going to a Cubs game. dwm1034 (784) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 24, 2010
UPDATED: APR 26, 2011 comparing it, unfortunately, to the Daisy Cutter I just had...night and day...the DC tasted like an IPA; this does not...more like a pale ale at best....
Aroma....nice nose / not too hoppy
Appearance...nice amber color; good sturdy head...hazy color
Taste...that is the problem...enough for a IPA but huge
Palate...medium body; a little thin; not quite bitter enough at end
Overall..a good session IPA....

Part of phaleslu’s 20 pound box. Hazy amber pour with thick creamy head. Sticky like a mofo. Nose high sweet sharpness of hops. Taste is light and thin, but with a warming sharpness. Sweet. Maltajo (329) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUN 14, 2010
12 oz bottle nice light golden pour with a nice head. Hopps Hopps and more Hopps. This is a good one to try!

Bottle, Moderate malt note of caramel, moderate pine and grapefruit for the hops, light soap for the yeast with cherry and pepper in the background. Head is small, wispy, white with some lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear amber. Flavor starts lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, a little oily and has a lively carbonation. This has all the components of an excellent IPA.

Poured from 12 oz bottle. Aroma is of a standard hoppy IPA, taste also very good. It’s great for a standard IPA and can see this as a gateway for non-craft beer lovers to get into trying things other than mass produced lagers. barncatmatt (2285) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 10, 2010
bottle shared with some london area BTers. copper with a white head. nose was small compared to the other pales that were served along side this. the flavours were balanced with all the normal american ipa aspects showing up where they should. solid session style ipa. angrybeerman (259) - Dublin, IRELAND - JUN 10, 2010
Ah afraid this one was a disappointment from a usually reliable brewery. Had it some while back and can’t remember the full details. Sweet and smooth but there was just something unpleasant about it. Will be back again for a full review. Vir4030 (603) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 9, 2010
Pours a medium to dark golden brown with a thick head. It has a slightly hoppy, almost metallic aroma. The flavor is pretty smooth, with a lot less of a bite than most IPAs.
