Bottle. Light orange, 5cm white head, good amount of lacing. Aroma is very fruity. Mango, sweet orange, some resin and some malt sweetness. Nice. Flavour is pretty much the same notes. Body is medium to light, carb is refreshing, but not too harsh. Not complicated or exciting in any way, but a solid representation of the style. Nice and sessionable. UPDATED: AUG 21, 2009 12oz - Nice palate, color and lacing, a bracing scent of hops on the nose. The flavor on the first sip seemed a little sweet, but subsequent sips were a solid, fresh, bright IPA. I liked it. Leighton (21087) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 8, 2009
I’ve been drinking some great IPAs recently and this offering from Goose Island stands of reasonably well. I had it tap at the Waterstone Grill on Stone St. in NYC. A nice light red coloring and a subtle, fine head. Mild aroma of citrus and pine from the hops. Taste reinforced the hop sensation with a slight bitterness and a smooth finish. Aftertaste seemed to be a little off but I’ll bet it was the tap and not the beer per se. Overall a tasty beer and highly drinkable. Capa (3255) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - AUG 5, 2009
Bottle at Chicago airport. Very citrus aroma with plenty of pine and a nice lightly sweet malt aroma, as well. Rather bitter flavor. Pine, grapefruit, and citrus with a little malts to support it all. A very pleasant way to spend my layover. nickd717 (4645) - San Francisco, California, USA - AUG 4, 2009
Bottle from Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in DC. Bright, clear golden-amber appearance with a medium white head. Great aroma of citrusy/piney hops with a little bready malt. Flavor is well-balanced with caramel and pilsner malts with slight graininess and lots of pine and citrus hops. Medium-bodied and crisp. Really good.

12oz bottle. clear copper under a large creamy white head. not particularly potent aroma but enough peachy, orange, citrus hoppiness to keep me interested. body is bit thin in this one. flavors of bittering hops, mostly citrus, and very light biscuity malting...a bit too light though. nice lemony, citrus finish. Bottled 355ml. It pours a light amber beer with an average sized off-white head. Decent hoppy nose. The flavor is okay with a slight hint of rice sneaking in. Balanced. Not really my kind of IPA but still rather enjoyable. Borresteijn (6969) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 22, 2009
RBESG Sheffield 2009, day 3, Smithfields Hotel, Manchester. Bottle. Light hazy golden colour, creamy white head. Aroma of toffee, fruits, hops and citrus. Flavour is sweet, fruity, caramel, sharp green hoppy finish. Medium bodied. A sweet IPA. Chimpy5 (19) - Iowa, USA - JUL 22, 2009
Poured a clear amber with medium white head. Aroma is hops and citrus. Thin bodied, but still had some solid bitter hop flavors to keep me interested.
