It is a warm golden beer with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of mango, citrus, peach, spruce needles and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of fruit, mango, citrus, spruce and caramel. It is very well balanced and charmingly uncomplicated. UPDATED: OCT 18, 2009 On tap at Rattle N Hum (NYC): A solid IPA. Fruity aroma coupled with a flowery bouquet of hops flavor refreshes the palate with each taste. Pleasing and wonderfully simple. #003 on 14062009, DG. walrussell (192) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 7, 2009
a good but not great ipa - a little bit of sourness and that chalkiness you get really bad in porters - but nice hoppiness - could be sweeter, but probably not unless it was also hoppier and more alcoholic - I think I just like my ipas a bit more bigger in every way. radagast83 (8069) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - JUN 7, 2009
12 oz bottle. Pours a relatively clear golden orange color, with a medium white foamy head. Aroma is floral hops, slight sweetness, pine. Flavor is a mild hop, light bitter, with a creamy, refreshing finish. Extremely pleasant IPA deyholla (11604) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 5, 2009
On tap at Wrigleyville Goose Island. Poured a clear gold with a white head. Aroma consisted of piney hop notes, nothing too complex. Flavor was nice w/ a good balance of hop flavor throughout.

Bottle. Clear amber colour with large creamy white mostly lasting head. Hoppy aroma. Fruity and bitter flavor. Creamy palate. evergreen0199 (3369) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2009
Bottle from Wholefoods in Kensington, London. Amber pour with a smallish head. Pleasant aroma of hops and citrus fruit. Quite bitter, fruity, hoppy. Nicely balanced IPA. Not as complex as some but fine for an IPA and good value. austone (1062) - Turku; Pori, FINLAND - MAY 29, 2009
Bottle at Apotek, Turku. Golden to light amber, firm foamy pale head. Quite sweet honeyish nose, good flowery hops, mineral notes, that sugary sweetness disturbs a bit. Simple bitter flavor, citric zest and little flowers, clean sweet maltiness, long citric bitterness. Light to medium bodied, strong spritzy carbonation. Didn’t offer much, not even that refreshing because of the sweetness. jesperhammer (4736) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 29, 2009
Slightly hazy a little light with orange hue and white head.
Nice nose of hops.
Very grape fruity, and very bitter.
If only one kind of IPA existed, I could live with this one. It goes well with food, and also alone. It is just a nice beer, and although I have had better IPA’s, I will come back to this one.
Birthday present from Morten, thank you. Skeegle (566) - Maryland, USA - MAY 28, 2009
Thought this one was great. Nice and affordable as others have said, and along those lines as well it is also moderate in alcohol. I’d imagine I could drink a six pack of this stuff and neither tire of it or be too off kilter. That’s hard to find. But onto the beer.
Bright citrus bouquet of hops--orange, flowers, and lemony. The color is bright orange and not at all amber. There was a very full mouthfeel that was nice, considering this beer’s small footprint. I wish more places sold this one. This is the stuff go-to beers are made of.
