Pours a light golden color with a frothy creamy head that stays for a while. Nice hoppy taste with a little bit of a sour hoppy after taste. I will buy this beer again. Guerde (1297) - Leuven, BELGIUM - FEB 18, 2008
(bottle) Pours light copper with a white head. Aroma of canned mandarin oranges and light pine. Taste is decent, with a nice balance between the sweet caramel malts and the bitter hop finish. Medium mouthfeel, not a bad IPA. puggy211 (712) - cordova, Tennessee, USA - FEB 18, 2008

[Bottle] Pours amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma is decent. Hops really aren’t too overpowering with a good amount of caramel malt and a lot of grain in the finish. Medium mouthfeel. A decent IPA, but didn’t overly impress. RblWthACoz (964) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - FEB 12, 2008
Pours a slightly clouded amber with a creme head that doesn’t really stick around but leaves lots of evidence (that means lace) on the way down. Nose is very piney and sticky hops. Seems a bit salty as well. Flavor is hoppy of course. Tangy tones rule on this one. Minor bitter hop edge is there as well. Feel is nice. This is a smooth and well balanced IPA. I’d love to see a cask offering.

12oz bottle. Orange with white head, Aroma is hops and pine. Taste is the same. Bitter finish. Nice IPA. User29624 (1683) - - FEB 7, 2008
Even though I live in Chicago, I haven’t had a Goose IPA in a while. The beer pours gold and has a very thin head that quickly disappears. The aroma is of strong pine hops. The flavor tastes the same and has a strong lingering bitterness to it, more bitter than most IPAs. Not that well balanced, but still a decent beer. jbean (110) - Illinois, USA - FEB 5, 2008
Bottle. Pours clear golden, lighter than normal IPAs, which hints at the flavor profile. Flavor is much spicier and sharper than I like in an IPA. Needs more depth, the malt is almost non-existent. Seems a little harsh. I’m a big fan of goose island, but this is one of my favorite styles and i must say I was disappointed. Finish, however, is very clean. albertane (377) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 4, 2008
Beautiful hazy golden colour, full floral hop aroma. The flavour matches the aroma with lots of floral sweetness and a lingering hop bitterness. Beautiful stuff. I order it by the case but wish it were more easily available here in Nottingham. crowderm (382) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 2, 2008
Pours a light amber, a bit lighter than the average IPA I would say, with a thin, quickly dissipating white head. The aroma is nice piny hops and a bit of sweet malt. The flavor is mostly bold, bitter piny hops with a sturdy backbone bone of syrupy malt. This beer isn’t quite as well balanced as the top of the line IPAs but all the right flavors are there, even if they are are blended perfectly. The mouthfeel is pretty good for the style. Overall solid, inexpensive and very sessionable.
