COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Floral citrus nose. Well hopped yet some maltiness as well. Citrus, pine and a touch of caramel. Overall solid

I wanna hate this stuff, but it’s a godsend at the ballpark, compared to Keith’s and Bud Light and Stella. Piney citrusy hops and a solid caramel malt. Nothing to write home about but this is a solid, simple, classic IPA. Damn you AB InBev.

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2015 Bottle. I appreciate the ’bottled on’ date, and this one is about 3.5 months old. Amber color (the website calls it ’bourbon’) with craggy head. This isn’t a big hop IPA, perhaps more malt forward. That’s OK, but I’d like a bit more bite. The hops that are there taste like Cascades. I don’t really find this all that memorable. Maybe there was an issue who handling for my bottle, causing a lack of freshness. Re-rate: in a 16 ounce can this time, which is in its favor. Keeps it fresher too. Still, this isn’t an exceptional IPA.

Bottled. Pours a dark, clear golden, with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, and slightly sweet, notes of pine and grapefruit. Taste is sweet malts, and a hoppy bitterness. Medium bitter aftertaste

Haven't had a disappointing beer yet from this brewer. This is an interesting take on an ipa. Looks more like an APA to me - very clear copper color with an off white medium head. The taste is more on the hoppy side, with a modest amount of malt balance in the finish. Overall a very drinkable beer, and I also like that it comes in at 5.9% - makes it a good choice when you're having more than 2. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. I strongly suspect that this is better directly from their tap, like their other beers. As it is, it’s a pretty mediocre IPA, too watery and lacklusterly flavored. I give it a 6/10.

A- Pours a clear orangey color with a 1 finger, off white head. S- Light, piney hop notes T- Light pine, slightly bready, extremely crisp. M- Thin to medium bodied with ample carbonation. D- A very mild interpretation of the style but solid none the less.
