Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Haven't had a disappointing beer yet from this brewer. This is an interesting take on an ipa. Looks more like an APA to me - very clear copper color with an off white medium head. The taste is more on the hoppy side, with a modest amount of malt balance in the finish. Overall a very drinkable beer, and I also like that it comes in at 5.9% - makes it a good choice when you're having more than 2. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A- Pours a clear orangey color with a 1 finger, off white head. S- Light, piney hop notes T- Light pine, slightly bready, extremely crisp. M- Thin to medium bodied with ample carbonation. D- A very mild interpretation of the style but solid none the less.

Big fresh hop and bready malt nose. Lots or fresh tastes here - sweet chewy malt, fruity hops including lemon and tropical fruit elements, and a touch of soapiness. Fresh and zesty.

Golden, almost clear, disappearing head but lasting laces. Pineapple aroma. Fresh taste wirh tropical fruit. Well balanced and very drinkable.

Bottle. I strongly suspect that this is better directly from their tap, like their other beers. As it is, it’s a pretty mediocre IPA, too watery and lacklusterly flavored. I give it a 6/10.

Pours orange amber with off-white head that fades. Strong hoppy orange citrus aroma with a flavor to match. Nice malt balance in the finish.

Slight hop aroma. Medium bodied. Not as hoppy as i would have expected but still enjoyable.

Metalhead (644) - Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA - NOV 8, 2004
One of the best IPAs around. Not nasty or over the top like some. Very smooth and highly quaffable with BBQ chips.

good full bodied pour with full white head, full smooth palate, light citurs backgrounds and mild bitterness

Bottle. Pours coppery orange with smooth frothy head that lingers for a short while. Smells sweet and floral and citric, with some pine and grass. Tastes very smooth, sweet and hoppy, citric fruits present. Finishes smooth with a piney aftertaste.
