355ml bottle. Poured an orange-golden color with a thich white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, lots of flowers. Taste was the same with maybe some spiciness (??) . Long aftertaste, dry and bitter. Body was light (a bit too light maybe) with medium carbonation. pras (602) - Maryland, USA - JUL 28, 2013
Good, but nothing remarkable about this one. That is not to say it wasn’t enjoyable and I wouldn’t drink it again. Malt build is in balance with a hefty does of hops. jskendzel (602) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 12, 2002
Good hop aroma present. Assertive level of bitterness, but seems slightly overdone or unbalanced. Enjoyable but not as smooth as others in the style range. chimplechamp (601) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 2, 2008
bottle phams- pours hazy copper with large foamy head. smells citrus, grass, bready yeasty, tastes gorgeous very well balanced sweetness with a clean hoppy finish that lasts ages. flowery citrusy, and it has a nice syrupy mouthfeel. great ipa. one of my favourites. arondee (601) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - AUG 28, 2013
Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a thick white head. The aroma is fake rings banana, orange, and floral hops. The taste is smooth and a little buttery. Orange rind, banana, cloves, dirty hops. It’s really easy to drink and much different than most of the west coast ipas I drink. I like it.

Tasted from a 12oz. bottle. It poured a clear amber with a frothy off white head and streaky lacing. Has a grassy hop aroma. Well hopped with a lasting bitter finish. thehoff (598) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 20, 2003
Quite clear for an India Pale. Nice orange color to it with a lot of carbonation. There is a cream quarter inch head with some nice lacing. Definite grapefruit peel smell to it, quite citrusy and bitter smelling. Quite bitter flavor as well, but inoffensive. Good but I think that I like the flavor of the Avery IPA q bit better. bartzluke (598) - Oklahoma, USA - JUL 23, 2016
12 oz pour from bottle into Spiegelau IPA glass. Orange-yellow, translucent, solid off-white head. Very piney nose. Medium body, a little sticky. Taste is bitter, malty, on the aggressive side. Hop_Hedonist (597) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 16, 2015
Great APA - very well balanced - nice caramel malt - lovely fruity herby spicy hops - very drinkable - could definitely go another. Well done. FreshHawk (596) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - MAR 15, 2010
A - Slightly hazy copper amber with decent sized foamy white head. Decent retention and a fair amount of lace left over.
S - Good hop smell, with a good amount of citrus (orange and grapefruit) as well as some floral/herbal smells. Faint caramel malt.
T - A lot of varieties of hop flavors are abundant. Citrus (orange and grapefruit), a good amount of herbal/floral tea-like hops. Also a bit pine and pepper. The background has a bread/biscuit and slight caramel malt taste. This provides a base and balances the hops a bit.
M - Medium body and decent carbonation. Crisp and fairly smooth.
D - Pretty good. Fairly balanced beer with hops being the center of attention. Body pretty good for drinkability.
Notes: Pretty balanced hoppy beer. Not an amazing beer, but a good beer for a hop centered beer but not a really bitter or heavily hopped beer.
