COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lovers dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youll remember.

Poured into an English pint glass. Amber color with a cream colored head. Aroma is caramel malt with some grapefruit hop notes. Taste is similar with more biscuity malt flavors coming through as well as some earthy hop notes. Medium bodied with a slightly dry finish. Overall this is pretty good. Not nearly as hoppy as some IPAs, but a good traditional example.

From the bottle, it pours a light, clear copper-orange color with a small rocky white head. The head disipates quickly leaving some lacing on the rim of the glass. The aroma is of sour grapefruit peel with notes of grass and some sweete malt undertones. The initial flavor is also of sour grapefruit peel. The middle begins to balance things out with a bit of sweet malt and then the finish is of hop bitterness that lasts a long time. A VERY nice IPA.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2016 Initial rating: 35.5cl bottle at home. Strong citrus and hoppy flavoured aromas coming from an amber coloured, clear lively brew with white, yellow diminishing foam on top. The nose has some creamy, vanilla and pinewood hints too. Really lovely. The taste indeed is fruity, with citrus and oranges features, but it also is very dry and high in malts. The bitterness of course masters the palate. A modest - for its really light bodied and non-complex character -, good tasting IPA from the iconic Goose Island brewery.

25cl draft from tap at De Trollekelder, Ghent (22 VII 2016). A hazy amber ale with egg white foam on top. The nose is full of wheat, hops, green grass. The taste is very, very lovely with many malts and great hops - with a long lasting bitterness in the finish. Classic, perfect.

Really aromatic. Floral and citrusy hops. Gold with a nice white head from bottle into a tulip glass. Unfortunately the flavor is just bitter. Being a beer not terribly malty, its not a great balance and on the thinner side. Way too bitter to be sessionable for me.

Orange pour with a thin white head and lacing that clings solidly to the glass. Light pine and citrus aroma. Taste is citrus and light pine. Really crisp and refreshing.

Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a small white head. Aroma is sweet grass and citrus - marmalade toast. Taste is smooth and drinkable. Hopped, but not wildly. Flavors of mild citrus and some sweet malt that lingers on the palate. Very little bitterness beyond the aftertaste. This is not a hardcore IPA that will set hop-heads atwitter, but it really is quite enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I have been drinking nothin but IPAs for the past couple weeks, and they are all starting to blend together for me. This one was really good too, nice amount of hops for this hop fan. Not to fruity. To many ipas claim to be the "hop lovers dream" though.

Pours kind of a smoky peach color, with 2 fingers of a fluffy white head. Floral hop aroma with a hint of pine. Well balanced flavor, very limited initial hop bitterness followed by a very nice sweet malt flavor. Nice smooth and creamy beer with a sticky and oily palate. An easy to drink beer, but a step below the top tier IPAs in terms of complexity and flavor.

Good ipa. Drank out of bottle because I was too lazy to find a glass. 28 degrees Celsius outside, hot.
