COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lovers dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youll remember.

12 oz. bottle; bottled on 02/23/08. Nice citrus aroma. Golden amber color with a beige head. Medium body with mild, slightly fizzy, carbonation. Flavor is a lot of citrus and/or grapefruit hop over some light caramel. Good stuff. Nice bitter finish. Some floral aspects develop as time progresses.

Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lasting off white head. Aromas of grapefruit rind, pine, light carmel and a hint of orange. Palate was light bodied and dry. Flavors of grapefruit, light orange, a hint of pine and a hint of spice with a pleasently dry bitter finish.

Bottled 355ml, from Sainsburys, Banbury. Dark amber with white head. I was prepared to be blown away, but wasnt, sure there are hops in there, but they lacked some character and the malty sweetness is a bit odd for a true IPA, it masked much of the hop. There is bitterness in the finish with a fruity note, quite like Chinese gooseberries. A reasonable beer without being exceptional.

(draft) Clear light copper body with medium head. Very strong pine aroma. Pine/grapefruit flavor, but not overwhelming. Nice carbonation keeps it nice on the tongue. Fairly dry finish. Its good, but one can only consume pine for so long -- definitely not a session beer.

Bottle at Red Lion, LGW. It pours orangey-amber with a medium yellow-white head. The nose is fresh, tangerine, mandarin, sherbet, nectarine and dough. The taste is crisp, bitter, tangerine, orange peel, toast, light alcohol, marmalade and diet Irn Bru, with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fresh. Crisp, balanced and crushable!
