COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2005 Nice hoppy flavor and aroma with a hint of citrus and piney acidic bite. Nice alcohol effect and addictiveness...

Very satisfying throughout. It does have a slightly fruity aroma, which leads into a malty flavor. The hops are very apparent, which makes the finish even better. Extremely drinking and nice on the palate.

Gold color, medium head. Mildly hopped with very pleasant aromatic hops. This is a slightly sweet malted IPA. This is not a traditional IPA in that it is not real hoppy, but it does have a very nice hop signature without being overpowering. Finish is smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Complex aroma with citrus, grapes, some tobacco, and lots of hops. Light amber color with a very big, thick head. Flavor of bitter hops. Aftertaste is also bitter with some malt. Medium bodied. Well done.

Reddish Brown, with a thick, uniform white head. Grapeftuit and raw hop aroma. Bitter, fruity, earthy hops right up front. Not balanced, but doesn't need to be. I like it.

Reddish-copper color with a nice head. Caramel maltiness with spicy, citrusy hops. Raisin-y undertones. Pleasant bitter aftertaste, light-creamy mouthfeel. Great session brew in my opinion. It's an average, quality IPA.

The appearance is nothing special but fairly standard for the style. Frothy white head on an amber body. Aroma is dominated by the floral /citrus aroma. The taste however is supported by a nice malt backbone for an IPA. Mouthfeel is nice and buttery. I like this beer and would add it to my repurchase list. Give this one a shot.

Nice golden color, a somewhat thin head. Clean citrus-hop aroma; good mouthfeel with a smooth malty finish that keeps this beer interesting to the end.

Pours a almost perfectly clear copper color, topped by a pale cream head that is supported by fairly low carbonation. Some notes of pine and citrus in the aroma, quite a bit of hop floral nectar characteristics. A bit of fruitiness and sharp astringent hoppiness in the nose as well, but in a good way. Taste is sharp and bitter from the hops, supported by a biscuit like maltiness. Quite a dry beer overall as well, but quite a bit maltier than I at first realized. A good amount of hop flavor and a solid dry malt character in the middle is a counter point to the bitterness in the finish. The hops are sharp produce a tingle as this beer passes my lips, just like a good IPA should.

12oz. bottle: The beer pours a golden color with a hint of orange to it. It has a slightly hazy appearance, with a bit of a white head. A big grapefruit nose of hops. Also a hint of some floral notes. The taste is bold and hoppy: a hint of grapefruit in the taste also. A very good effort!
