COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Bottle: poured a medium amber orange gold, some bubbles on top with some lacing, lot of pine citrus floral fragrance with pale malt and sweet aromas, faint caramel fragrance, hop bite with a malt sweet taste, citrus and pine needles taste, a citrus grapefruit juice lingers in the after taste, the mouth feel is a little thin, I thought it could be a little better, a good IPA.

A nice looking IPA with a big foamy head. Plenty of retention here, too. Aroma is full of pine. Flavor is clearly tart, as expected, but is also surprisingly sweet as the malts show up. Definitely the best American IPA I have tasted.

A wonderful citrus - hop aroma, really punchy, little head (had to use a red wine glass) an apple-hop-brandy-caramel flavour and a delightfully charming apple schnapps finish, lovely and I am so delighted I can get it in Ireland!

12oz.bottle from Tanaka. Golden in color with very little head. Very floral aroma, citrusy. Nice malty flavor, with a good hoppy finish. Bitter, but nothing over the top. Crisp finish. Good beer, but nothing special

Commercial, but very pleasant IPA. Lots of hop, kind of short in taste, almost green in colour, easy drinkable for an IPA. Dies quite fast in the glass. Drink fast!

Taster at The Mondial de la Biere 07.Amber coloer with a beige head. It has a bitter dry hoppy taste, with flavors of citrus. Overall a good I.P.A.

Pours a light burnished copper with a loose off-white head. Light citrus spice and earth in the aroma with mild malt characteristics as well. Very earthy hops flavors--loam, dry needles--with some crisp malt notes. Light-bodied with good bitterness and a clean finish.

After finishing off this beer, I was intrigued with the idea of being able to buy a great amount for an every day beer because this really did fit that bill. Easily sessionable, hoppy enough to keep the juices flowing with a sweetness well balanced by the hops. The beer pours out a cloudy, dark orangish/yellow hue with a very thin head. I couldn’t even get a head to form. Aroma is nicely hopped with a dose of grapefruit, some bitter orange peel, and some apple juice (must have been the malts). Flavor was equal parts easy bittering (citrus with a touch of floralness) and sweet malts. No overpowering carbonation, nothing to make you grimace while drinking. Clean, crisp finish, smooth from start to end. A nice IPA.

Very interesting aroma of floral, fruity and herbal hops. Pours a dark golden color with a medium white head. Robust flavor of fruity, herbal hops with malt with a dry, bitter finish. The body is medium with a creamy texture and soft carbonation.

Orange with a small, persistent white head. Grapefruit and passionfruit aroma. Very thick textured, there is a little bit of grapefruit in the flavour, but the taste is mostly a hop hit. Curiously I also detect a small amount of honey sweetness. However that is probably just a psychological association with the colour and viscosity.
