COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lovers dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youll remember.

Pours a hazy light amber, with a head that fades to lacing quickly. Nice hop flavor, not too much of a finish. Decent IPA, but doesnt compare to most of the others Ive tried.

Yellow-amber colored with a thick off-white head. Lots of citrus in the nose. Grapefruit twinged bitterness is accompanied by a toasted malt and caramel. A nicely balanced IPA, but it wont be your cup of tea if you are looking for a West Coast hop-bomb.

Pours an orangey copper with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, pepper, caramel, some dough. Taste is initially bitter with peppery splashes, sweet malt and hints of citrus. Decent.

Fruity and grassy hops in the nose. Nice malty taste quickly followed by the dry bitterness.

Bottle... Clear golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. The nose is very much like that of instant Lipton iced tea with lemon. Medium toffee sweetness followed by moderate citrus peel bitterness. Medium-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Bitter-sweet and then astringent, drying finish. Kudos to Gillard for sharing the bottle!

I was looking for something to really stand out with this beer but nothing really did. It was hoppy but not nearly as hoppy as it would lead you to believe

(bottle) Pours light copper with a white head. Aroma of canned mandarin oranges and light pine. Taste is decent, with a nice balance between the sweet caramel malts and the bitter hop finish. Medium mouthfeel, not a bad IPA.

ante (3374) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 20, 2008
Bottled at Monks Caf, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear orange colour with copper hints. The foam sinks quickly. Really fresh and airy hop aroma of flowers, wet grass and dried oranges. Clean resinous, but not overly bitter flavour of orange-peels, flowers and minerals. Medium bodied. Long medium bitter finish of orangey and minerally hops. A well-balanced US IPA, well-made but lacks the bite.

12 oz bottle. Poured clear amber with a medium sized off white head that left a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus and floral hops and also fruity. Flavors of caramel malts, slight citrus hops, floral, fruity esters. Medium bodied and a pretty smooth drinkin IPA. Not bad.

just poured a 12oz bottle of this into my trusty beer glass. It has a nice orange/amber color. The aroma is a little weak for my liking. And then the taste; It’s a bit on the weak side for my tastes, It’s almost between a good pale ale and a mild IPA(which is kind of an oxymoron) But I would buy it again, if the price was right Cheers!
