COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Bottle to glass mug. Pours a hazy yellow with a full white head. Nice balance of hop bite & malt sweetness. Hop flavors of citrus.

A pretty standard IPA. Aroma is somewhat malt y, toffee and floral/citrus. Moderate head with no lacing, paleish amber colour. Taste is well-balanced but unremarkable. Some malty toffee notes, moderate hop flavour. Palate is clean, thin. Overall, a drinkable if unremarkable beer. Poured from a can into a tumbler,

This has earned it’s seat with Steelhead, Eye of the Hawk, Newcastle, & Guinness...Top Hat of the Round Table of excellent taste

A great everyday IPA, Goose IPA has a nice citrus happiness but backs it up with a lightly nutty lightly caramel malt backbone. Balanced for an IPA. Ends with a long bitter, but not sharp, fade. Pours crystal clear light amber with a big creamy white head. Sampled through a Fizzics.

12oz bottle. Clear yellow-orange, thin off-white head. Fruity, lightly piney nose. Flavors are grapefruit, sweet orange, caramel. Smooth and light-bodied with a medium finish. Enjoyable, but seems more like a pale ale.

33cl bottle purchased @ Rock Out Shop. Belle robe dorée. Parfum assez léger. Attaque sur les fruits tropicaux avec beaucoup de douceur. Final résineux et houblonné assez sec.

Just average. I found it a bit too sweet and malty actually. Good tropical aromas but not as nice to drink.

Optisch golden, gefiltert, stabiler Schaum. In der Nase schöne Frucht, im Trunk Grapefruit, mittig bitter, hinten langer Nachhall, leichte Süße. Feines Ding, die fette Gans.

Here’s one I couldn’t believe I haven’t rated yet, it’s an oldie but now just goodie-not-greatie (?). It pours a foamy clear yellow gold pale aleish hue with a medium head and it smells pretty good, tropical notes with some light pine. The taste is a tad harsh and bitter for 2017; you can tell this is a old one, but it stills holds up for being pretty cheap these days and often being the best beer in terrible bars due to the AB-InBev distro. It is pretty easy to drink a few after you acclimate to it. Good for halting and catching fire while waiting for the doo doo medicine to take effect thus making the toilet bowl catch the poop.
