Thanks to Kraddel. 650 ml. bottle. 2012 Vintage. 26/01/2012 1454. Appearance is dark red fruits amber with no head. Nose is lactic dark fruits, blackberries, light wine, light spices. Taste is quite sour red wine mixed with lightly sweet blackberries, light brambleberry, sour fruit, acid, strong red wine, plenty of oak & some fruit jam, faint lemon. Solid body; Not very complex but drinks pretty well. Decent enough beer.

2009 Vintage
From notes. Tasted some time near the summer of 2012 from a capped 650mL bomber bottle that I had purchased at Lush West Town quite some time before. This was the vintage that had some exploding bottle issues, and was subsequently recalled, and this bottle was quite the gusher. Pours cloudy pink/peach with a massive white head that leaves thick lace. The nose is sour berries, tart lemon peel, a nice hit of funk, and just a bit of caramel oak and barrel. The flavor is not as sour as I expected, but nicely fruity, some tart lemon, and the same light malt and barrel from the nose. The body is medium with lively carbonation and a long tart berry, lemon, and tannic finish.

Bottles (2010, 2012, 2013) into snifter. Hazy dark gold with small white head. Tons of tart fruit, with some grape must and wood notes. Really good. Actually prefer the brighter character of the newer vintages.

Sample at the 2014 Infected Chimipalooza on 11/01/2014. Clear pinkish-orange color with a thin white head that diminishes steadily. Strings of lacing. Aroma of berries, oak and spice. Medium body with flavors of tart berries, vinous oak and herbal yeast. The finish is tart and fruity with a berry and oak aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Bottle sample at a sour tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks zvikar. Hazy orange. Aroma of berries, vinegar, oak, cookies and a vinous touch. Sour flavor with apple vinegar, oak, fruits, a cookie-ish malty touch, a sweetish hint and some vinous notes. Medium-bodied.

2012 bottle, 22oz. Murky dark pink pour, little head. Aromas of wood and fruit. Taste is very tart and dry. Flavors of tart blackberry jam with some woody pie crusts. Nice. Wonder if it dried out in the bottle a bit or if it was brewed this dry. Very lactic, slightly funky. Very tart. I like this a lot.
