From old notes. Draft at clybourn. Citrus and pine dominate. Pretty darn good brew right here. crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 1, 2013
Very spicey yeast in this one, sweet malt, herbal hops, not my favorite from GI. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - FEB 26, 2013
Flight on tap at the Clybourn Brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a deeper hazed golden amber hue. Good glow, mellow carbonation. Offwhite cakey head sits atop and laces well, sticks around. Aromas are Citra hops, gentle bready and straw grainy malts. Doughy, touches of spice, mellow citrus, florals and that Citra feel gives some good life. Gentle straw, dryness hit from the yeast, some spice, mellow lemon, bready malts. Initial is lighter bodied, a touch of girth from the malt bill. Firm hoppy presence up front offers florals, grass, lemon, gentle Citra fruity tropical presence. Bready and crisp straw, grainy malts. Some gentle spiciness, Belgian yeast influence starts to float into the middle. Firmer dry middle and hoppy backend, never gets a bit heavy or sweet. The malt body is there and never really changes. The hops glide over it, firmly dry, citrusy, a nice nose and more earthy floral backend and finish. Gentle bready, straw, and grainy malt body as we move through. Gentle spice, yeast, touch of lotion and lemon as we move into backend and finish become more assertive. Firm inviting dry hoppy element finishes, gentle yeasty, gentle fruity elements meld with the hops. Really plays well together. Nice Citra dose on the nose, firmly hopped beer but nothing I’d call strong. Pretty nice Belgian Ale with a nice American hop spin. boto (2211) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - MAY 15, 2011
Draught @ Clybourn Brewpub: Served in a tulip glass. This one pours a Fairly clear amber color. There was about 1 finger of an off-white head onit. There was some lacing. It has a nice hoppy nose. It is pretty well balanced between citrus and pine hops. The taste is very good. Not too bitter at all. It is fairly full bodied. Pine, some citrus, lots of malts, but no real sweetness to it. Some caramel and faint fruits also. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - MAY 4, 2011
Apr 27, tap @ Goose Island, Clyborn. Pours dark copper with a small tanned head leaving nice lace. Fruitu, roasted, smokey and tary aroma. Flavor is sweet, fruity, tary, alcohol; excellent. Finish is very nice longlived tary and tart.

On Tap at goose island cly... Pours very similar to broad shoulders with a deep clear copper pour and topped with a thin to medium soapy barely off-white head... Mild citrus and light yeasty nose where the latter takes precedence. Subdued, earthy almost saison like yeasty nose... Flavors Carry forward with the same yeasty profile upfront, some banana and citrus coinciding with one another while finishing with a tame yet somewhat assertive bitterness that lingers to some degree. Smooth medium bodies with adequate carbonation. Finish was a little too bitter for me but still not that bad. satan165 (1020) - River Grove, Illinois, USA - FEB 5, 2011

Tap @ BT, GI event. Red pour. Very sweet, orange citrus, candy arouma. Sweet caramel malts and nicely bitter. A bit of a cotton candy aftertaste. Nice citrus and piney notes and hints of fruity sourness. Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - MAR 1, 2010
Draft. Pours an amber crimson body with an off white head. Hoppy as hell. Awesome hop accents of pine, grapefruit rinds light citrus, a bit of grass and some fresh cut herbs. Maybe a bit green even on the hop tones but nevertheless a flavorful explosion with a full body to back it up. This was great stuff.
