This beer was amazing. First taste was a surprise. Nice sour, raspberry flavor. Not a hyge swallow beer. Sipping is the best way to drink this big beer. Not chewy at all. Lots of flavor and just keeps getting better the more you drink it.

With more funk than Parliament the sherry colored sour is a treasure. This beer makes me want to live in Goose Island. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

Draft at ebp. Pours a hazy dark amber with golden brown edges. Loose fizzy tan head fades right away. Bright sweet strawberry and balsamic nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Tangy strawberry and balsamic mid palate. Long tart finish.

Bottled June 17, 2013.
Appearance: The body is a bright burnt sienna with an effervescent head that disappears so quickly that its almost a figment of my imagination.
Aroma: The aroma is taken over by a dry sourness with a raspberry backing and slight hay aromas. The aroma isnt very strong and I dont particularly love the aroma. The aroma is vaguely reminiscent of Warheads soaked in a beer.
Taste: The intro is light with raspberry, slowly adding a dry sourness through this. As the sourness builds it gains a vinegar presence. The finish adds a touch of sweetness, perhaps caramel and lingers for a few moments with a light vinegar. The finish is pleasant if you enjoy the prospect of pickled raspberry.
Palate: Almost full-bodied, highly carbonated.
Overall: I enjoy this, but not nearly as much as I should given the price. I find the flavor to be rather simple and not one that I particularly enjoy. The flavor reminds me of how pickled raspberries would taste, not that its awful, but it makes for a beer I dont want to drink a lot of.

Bottle to glass. So excited to reunite with one of the sisters. Pours a deep amber color with zero head. Aroma is a bit mild, but still showcases the Brett and acetic acid. Flavor is much more prominent, with an intense sour fruit. Light to medium in body with a lingering tartness. Delicioso!

Bottle, 8.2%. Pours a hazy burnt sienna, looks all but flat. Smell is typical of a fruity sour -- raspberry and brett. Taste is tart and pretty dry with what Id call an approachable funk -- almost a bit polite for my taste. Mouthfeel just a bit thin I could see someone who didnt traditionally like wild/sour stuff enjoying thin and oily. Very enjoyable, well-made stuff but not a personal favorite in the style.

Bottle from Capones, and lets ramp up the PA distribution on these sours, guys. Pours turbid ruby orangy with off-white head. Nose is tart raspberries, earthy yeasty funk. Tastes tart, with the raspberries predominating, and a complex flavor throughout, with tart raspberry, lactic yeasty sour flavor, and a hefty satisfying mouthfeel that ends even better than it starts. Delicious, and lively on the palate all the way to the end. Let this one coat your mouth and tongue, savor it, and appreciate that without all these micro-organisms, the human race may not exist.

765ml bottle?? Shared thanks to Scott & dmac! Pours a nice mostly clear amber color with almost no head. Aroma is super funky, yeasty, with acidic lemon, and sour berries. Taste of funk, sour cherries, tart raspberry, and getting an earthy bitterness in the finish.

Pours a dark reddish color, not much head. Aroma is tart berry notes, a bit of oak and funk, some vinegar. Taste is very tart, some berry notes, lots of oak, lactic, semi dry puckery finish. Good stuff.
