765ml bottle from Spirits Brick, 765...what the hell is that??? Po ured a clear ugly amber that in the light seems more orangey but in low light seems more reddish/pinkish and not much head. Aroma is great, super sour, acidic, toast, for some reason a touch of chocolate, earthy, lemons, rasapberry and tea. Body is thin to medium with way super fizzy carbonation and a sour finish. Flavor is two steps back from the awesome aroma, notes of cherry skins, lemon, acidity, dry toast and some champagne yeast. Solid beer that might get more funk-e bertter with some age.

Pours with a golden rosey hue. Tart slightly fruity aroma. Has an assertive brettanomyces flavor as well as a tart fruity pleasant taste.A must try if you like sours or American wild ales.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2015 Bottle pours dark golden but the glass looks rosy orange red with very little carbonation. The aroma is great, modest sour tart fruit with a nice sweetness. It drinks very easy, mild tart raspberry with a tiny touch of strawberry, very balanced sweetness aids to the depth of the fruit. Very little noticeable carbonation but the brew has a sharp sparkle that certainly aids the feel. The oak and wine is very secondary, just adding depth and finesse to the finish. The finish lasts quite a while with a soft dry red wine tart fruit and very light earthy oak. This is absolutely top notch by style.

One of a series of exceptional sours that recently arrived in Lawrence. Kinda pricey, but this is one of the better ones. Berry sweetness balanced out the tartness of this beer. It would be interesting to see how this one ages.

Poured a light amber red color with aromas of raspberries, and some Brett. Flavors are the same, tart raspberries, funk, light barnyard, and a touch of cherries. A very nice and drinkable beer, I need more of these bottles.

Bottle from Whole Foods in Devon. Pours red with a small off white head that dissipates nearly immediately. The aroma has a nice mix of raspberry juice, tart cherry. The taste. The taste is quite tart, has a big raspberry flavor, very juicy but dominated by the tartness of the berry. Excellent.

Draft at Blue monk. Orange red pour with no head. Nose is a huge hit of brett and tart raspberry. Taste is sour Brett funk with a raspberry body into an oaky hay finish.

A lively pour, a deep reddish orange, fizzy but quickly disappearing head. Aroma is sophisticated and elegant; fruity, raspberries, yeast, light oak, basement, a juicy sweetness. First sip bursts on the palate; tart, bretty, yeasty, balanced sweet, dry woody. Very nice development. Well made beer, lots of character.

Aroma smells sparkling, reminds me of a sparking wine. Some bitter raspberries, yeast, fruity. Pours a little red/orange/brown/pink, but settles into a deep red. Tastes sour, bitter, raspberry, fruity, alcohol. First sip was a little shocking, but following sips were very smooth.
