Casked beer the week of Easter 2006. A strange combination of beers but it all worked out well. Very smooth in texture as to be expected with a cask beer. Very hoppy/citrusy aroma and flavor. I didnít detect the trippel whose role may have only been, as the waiter hinted, to up the alcohol content. Altogether, a very good hoppy beer that has underlying complexity. By definition not a barley wine, I think American Strong ale is a good and vague enough classification.

tap @ clyborn - Big head, very smooth, hoppy and not too sweet. pretty flat in my opinion, but it was only my first cask-conditioned. as a combination of beer this is pretty impressive, but i didnít like it as much as the others at the table
