COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Pub brewed India Pale Ale that yields a higher gravity and slightly deeper hue than our perennial IPA, making it "mid way" between the IPA and Imperial IPA. Generous amounts of Amarillo hops were used and aged with oak and apple wood chips for distinctive character. Dispensed with Nitrogen and "slow poured" for a silky mouthfeel.

On cask at the brewpub. Pours a light golden with a creamy white head. Aroma is lightly piney with some citric and strong caramel notes. A bit of doughiness too. Flavor is fairly eh too. Lots of caramel and bready biscuit notes. Some citric but mostly piney hops. Boring hop character. Maybe I should have gotten a regular pint versus cask, just tastes bland. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Eh

Tap at BT for the GI event. Pours a medium bright amber with a thin head. Aroma is orange mango citrus with mint earth some green grassy hints and weeds, - someone said this was hopped only with Horizon light carapils malt backbone. Flavor is more earthy minty and citrus hints, a bit leather nice honey sweetness with some orange zest, citrus oils and almost a hint of lemon verbena and slight soapiness as it warms and in the finish. Ok
