Thick, off white foam floating above a crystal clear, copper red liquid with a steady stream of bubbles. Aroma of malt, rye bread. Spicey, rye flavor with a creamy mouthfeel full of malt. 12 oz bottle from TC Craft. Copper colored pour with a thick white head that dissipates a bit but still hangs around and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is bready & slightly hoppy with a bit of rye. The flavor brings out the rye and the hops and leaves a slightly bitter hops finish on your tongue.

12 oz bottle. Fairly light aroma, some light buttered popcorn, rye toast, and a minor woody hop. Had a good half bubbly, half cream off-white head on the pour, semi-translucent, and a reddish rust color. Different flavor from the aroma, spices, a wheat like presence, toasted barley, orange zest citrus, good linger with a prominent sweet grainy taste. Deep ruby red pour with a small white head and lacing. Very aromatic. Hops, dark fruit, caramel, grass, whisky, bread.
Quite bitter from the hops and sweet from the caramel and dark fruit, raisin. There is a very slight warmth from the liquor. The flavours are more subdued but all are there. Slight spice, tea and pepper.
All in all an enjoyable brew.

Pours a reddish-cooper color with huge foaming head mostly lasting, leaving some beautiful lacing on the glass. Nose is barley and malt with a suggestion of carmel. Mouthfeel is very creamy and soft. Full flavored with tastes of barley, malt and carmel. Finishes on a hoppy note but not bitter. A well crafted beer that can stand up to a winter feast of roast beef, potatoes and carrots. Aroma and color is close to a Brown Ale, with just a small off-white head of foam. Mouthfeel is very smooth- pleasant. But- very sweet upfront, and then turns a bit sour & spicy towards the middle and finish, and then the sweetness kicks back in big-time and lasts and lasts and lasts. Hate to say this isn’t a favorite of mine. Mild aroma, deep beautiful copper/brown color (filtered?), excellent taste, thin palate. Solid beer.
