Thanks to Msante79 for this one! Inky black pour with a thin brown head and spotty lace. Aroma is roast and hops. Mouthfeel is silky. Chocolate, alcohol, pine, vanilla and heavy roast on the verge of being smokey. Velvety finish slitcher (268) - Freeport, Illinois, USA - APR 15, 2010
Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, caramel and chocolate. Flavors of chocolate, vanilla, piny hops and alcohol. Almost a cough syrup aftertaste with a slightly smokey flavor.. The hops make this a very unique and delicious stout...this is great. A stout for hop heads! Nephilium (1821) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - APR 14, 2010
Strong pine and citrus aroma, with a touch of malt undertone. Not what I was expecting from a beer that pours an opaque black with a rich milk chocolate head. Nice rich creamy mouthfeel leading to citrus, chocolate, vanilla and roast playing together in a delicious stout. I’d probably put this under American Strong Ale rather then Imperial Stout, but wow do I want more of it. IrishBoy (4228) - Bakersfield, California, USA - APR 13, 2010
Bonus bomber from Miketd! Thick oily black with a msall cinnamon tan head. Very perfumey (floral hops and alcohol mixed I guess) with coffee. Flavor is sweet coffee, smokiness, very light bitterness, and cough syrup alcohol. Very different than any other impy I’ve had. SHANER4 (507) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - APR 11, 2010
Bottle 22oz. - Poured black with thin mocha brown head.
Aroma - cittrus/lime hop scent mixed with dark chocolate, charred wood and finishes with pine aroma.
Flavor - smokey charred wood, dark chocolate, licorice and citrus hops. Excellent rich flavor going on with good alcohol content.
Palate - heavy mouthfeel with thick oily textuture. Finish is dry and bitter with smokey charred wood aftertaste.
Overall - reminds me of Stone RIS with better texture and fuller body. Has great hop taste and alcohol burn is perfect!

Bomber 2010. Super thick pour, black as hell with a mocha head...pretty much looks like BCS, which is a good thing. Aroma of pine, bready malt, caramel, licorice, and dark chocolate. Flavors of roasted bready malt, bitter pine and light citrus, caramel, dark chocolate. Big body, thick and sweet with a nice bitterness that cuts through it. Lasting bitter finish. Overall, very tasty stuff, I like the hopped up Impys, the bitterness cuts through what could be cloying sweetness. Biggest complaint is the bomber size. Totally impractical as a 12 oz would be plenty even for two people. NayTron (133) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - APR 9, 2010
Pours black with little head. Aromas of hops, chocolate, roasted malts and a wisp of oak. Taste is really unique, impressions of a dark IPA. Hops with roasted malts. Mouthfeel is really wonderful. Finishes with a slow bitter that works well with the malts. Nice beer. RCL (2030) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - APR 9, 2010
Nice dark roast, licorice and herbal hop aroma. Quite piney, hoppy flavor layered over more rich licorice and dark chocolate. Very tasty. kennydiaz (358) - Manahawkin, New Jersey, USA - APR 9, 2010
UPDATED: NOV 10, 2010 Pours a nice jet black with a mild head. This is one the best beers in the world. Has a nice malty base with chocolate and coffee overtures but its the hops that make this beer one of the best. If you can find this one buy it you won’t be disappointed. wavers1 (916) - Notown, California, USA - APR 7, 2010
thanks to tarheels for this fresh beaut! pours black with a brown head, fairly small, would have like a lil more there. aroma is great, tons of fresh citrusy, pineapplish, earthy hops everywhere! yum! the taste is to match, just great, starts with a strong punch of hops to reckon with any iipa, then fades very nicely into a deep, sweet stout that you would expect. this beer is awesome, on par with other dark hop bombs like 09 darkness and alpha claus fresh. the hop profile is very nice, the base beer is of course great, and the hops allow an extra dimension temp wise too, this beer offers something slightly chilled.
