Cafe Sveavägen, Stockholm. Quite much pitch black colour, small beige head. Aroma is very much quadrupel like even though the low abv. Also quite spicy notes. Flavour is toasted, mild roasted malts with some herbs, spices and quite raisiny and plummy as well. Like drinking a light quadrupel!
Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Black, minimal head. Careful roasty nose with some black pepper. Dryish with clean mouthfeel. Rather tinny with markes coffee-like roastiness. The clean, hard malt is surrounded by sloppy syrup. To hard malt character for any flavours to come out, making it feel unpleasantly metallic - like licking a lamp post. Fades out with low bitterness. Rock hard malt in a saison = FAIL.
