Sampled at the Clyborn location. Pours a clear deep grapefruit with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of raspberry with a bit of sweetness and a hint of crispness. Flavor has a similar raspberry note that is a bit weaker with underlying sweet grains. Flight pour on tap at the Clybourn Brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a gently hazed orange pour, touch of reddush copper tinge to the body with gentle deeper glow, fiery orange bottom and big cakey whitish head atop that dies to a firm layer, laces ok. Aromas are pretty distinct seedy raspberry, a touch on the sweeter pulpy juice side. Mellow bready malts, straw. Crisp with touches of dry hops, florals, gentle fruity sweetness. Raspberry becomes the focus. Initial is inviting raspberry juice feel, a touch pulpy with bready malts, rgain. Touches of straw, gentle kiss of citrus as the raspberry mixes well with the crisp cereal malt base. A touch tannic and dry as we move towards the back, fairly fresh and refreshing. Finish is a touch dry, seedy, crisp with gentle elements of raspberry coming and going, lingering on. A solid summer fruit beer offering, if anything. Draft at Clybourn. Pours a pinkish hewed orange with a fluffy white head. The nose is fresh and juicy, good raspberry notes. On tasting, it’s really clean and lightly tart. The Kolsch malt profile definitely comes through. The raspberry is there but far more subdued. Pretty refreshing overall and likable. Decent. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 8, 2012
Draft at clybourn, pours hazy grapefruit with white head. Aroma has a fruity yeast character with hint of raspberries. Good aroma but taste doesnt really follow through, there’s an of putting raspberry sweetness upfront while the Kolsch yeast imparts it’s fruitiness and a strange spicy finish. It all comes together like a middle school dance, a bit awkward. I have no idea if this was a very good yeast to begin with. I could see it pairing well with a summer salad. It is pretty refreshing after all. BelgianBeerGal (4140) - Panama City, Florida, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Draft at the Clybourn location. Nice, light and refreshing after a hot day outside walking. The raspberries are nice but they don’t dominate the kolsch backbone. This definitely is a raspberry accented kolsch and not a fruit beer. I liked it.

Kind of smelled like stale raspberries and wheat. Pink lemonade in color and very light in body. Taste was like a really light boozy raspberry taste.
