If you have an idea of what to expect from something like a doppelbock style of beer, this heads down that path. Its deliciously sweet and hoppy, but the sweetness is balanced perfectly. Its a great mix of flavor between something fuller bodied and something more floral.

This beer has a very crisp and fruity flavor profile. It has a medium body and a lively carbonation. It has a light bitterness, and is balanced by its sweet and sour accents. There is a hint of banana, but not enough to overpower the flavor. Definitely one of the better beers Ive gtried.

bottle @ Belmont Party Supply / Dayton OH --- Aroma of lightly roasted caramel malt. Opaque dark brown color, off-white head that sinks to a full cover, hanging strands of lace. Taste is full-bodied malt, light fizz, and light bitter in a long, mostly sweet finish. The malt dominates in a good way here, fitting for a bock. Still searching for the rye.

Pours a cloudy, brown color with a light tan head. Aroma is of caramel malts, dark fruits, and not much else. Mostly dark fruits on the flavor with some sweetness from the caramel malts.

Really nice deep molasses brown pour with a thin layer of khaki head. Sharp aroma of caramel malt, sweet grainy malt, toffee, cream, clove, oak and a bit of raspberry perhaps. Average carbonation, thick creamy mouthfeel, effervescent finish. Sweet strong malt flavor with tingly rye, toffee, clove and banana. Strong German sweet malt bill with rye. Pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a dingy medium brown with a thick but small head. Aromas of caramel/toffee sweetness and a hint of banana. Flavor is sweet with toffee-like malt up front but then transitions to bananas and then a spicy finish that has a lingering bitterness. Interesting and decently put together.

Brown color . Thin , off-white head . Aroma of caramel malt , banana, clove and hint of spices . Malty , with notes of caramel and fruits. Decent beer , although it's weird for double bock to smell like weizen.

Pours brown with thin off white head. Light malty nose. Crisp malt profile with mild hop bite. This is a nice brew, not too heavy, crisp but with a nice balance between malt and hops.

Cloudy, reddish-brown pour with an off-white head. The aroma has banana, cloves, and some spicy rye. It has a medium body with slightly sticky texture. The taste is sweet with a mildly dry finish.
