COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This deceivingly dark imperial IPA was brewed with debittered black to give it a hint of roast and dark color but we let the hops do the rest of the talking in this beer.

On tap at Birdsall House during their Goose Island event. Pours a milky and somewhat murky thick brown with a thin beige head. A touch of caramel, huge hops, light roast and chocolate. A touch of alcohol, hop juice. Medium to thick body, super bitter and hoppy. Light dark chocolate over the monstrously bitter and somewhat harsh finish. Might just be the bitterest black IPA ever. Would have scored higher but it was just harsh at the end and not really balanced (though by no means was it bad…quite enjoyable actually, just a bit much).
