Tastes like a shandy with bacon. Mighty light beer but a strong saltiness to it. Lil lemony. User29624 (1683) - - JUL 31, 2010
Draft at Clybourne. Pours hazy red with an off white head. Light smokey aroma, grain. Slightly sweet flavor, a touch of smoke. I was hoping for something with a lot more smokey flavor. Decent though. andyhwcinc (1884) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 21, 2010
Enjoyed in cask conditioned form at Goose Island Clybourn in Chicago. Aroma is mild yeasty, appearance was pure brown with no head and a ton of yeast sediment at the bottom, which is not bad considering it was cask conditioned. Taste was interesting, rose pedals like port, hint of smoke, full bodied. It was pretty good but I wish I had it on proper draft instead of cask conditioned...some beers are just better at colder temperatures. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 6, 2010
