Robe blonde pale mousse blanche. Nez fruit, blé. Bouche épicée, légèrement acidulée. Très bonne. humbaba (3) - FRANCE - FEB 15, 2017 does not count
Bouteille 33cl.
On draft at Goose Island bar at O’Hare Airport pours a hazy, golden yellow body with a thick white quickly dissipating head, although the lacing persisted. The aroma was wheat, citrus, and fruit. The flavor is citrusy and hops, some yeast and pepper spice. The mouthfeel is light. Finish is dry crisp bready tartness with a long lasting blend of citrus and yeast. Découverte dans la Saveur Box. Bière jaune claire. Arômes d’épices et malt. En bouche on retrouve les épices et le style belge. Très bonne bière. Belle découverte. otaviosaloon_79 (1) - Sao Jose, BRAZIL - FEB 6, 2017 does not count

Clear Golden/orangish color with a decent head retention. A lot of effervescence inside the liquid. It smells like barnyard, tart wheat, orange. Sparkling bubbles on the tongue, light to medium acidity, pretty dry, the bretts ate every sugars they could, light bitterness, lemon. Very good farmhouse saison, not too much barnyard and leather side it’s more subtle. Martin243 (1143) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JAN 10, 2017
Having fumbled the ball with the Urban Wheat debacle, Goose Island come back strongly with this. 330 ml bottle served cold in a small chalice. Satsumas and wheat aroma. Beautiful golden body, but the head fades quickly. However, this is about the flavours. Orange cream, spicy bananas, hard cheese, long spicy citrus finish. Delicious. mikkopen (1155) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 6, 2017
765 ml bottle. Hazy pale yellow colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, tart apples, malt and spices. The flavour is fruity, slightly sweet, with citrus, spices and notes of white wine. Very tasty. User134089 (1644) - - DEC 26, 2016

Was staying at the Hard Rock for a work trip and had planned on heading to the Goose Island Pub once I saw that BCBS was on tap. The plan was to review Sofie and Matilda, and have a BCBS. However, once I got there I was told that they ran out of BCBS in the last hour. Bummer. Still wanted to try both beers and was actually surprised that I had not yet.
Poured a straw-gold yellow clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of frothy white head when I got it. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Good spotty lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled rather boozy up front. Settled in and got lemon, coriander peel, citrus zest, white wine (could not pick out which type) barrels, grassy notes, lingering peppery spices and dry apricot. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste was much better, getting lemon juice, bitter coriander peel, hints of boozy oaky white wine, but not overwhelming, grassy nots, some tartness, a touch of banana and still that dry apricot. (Taste - 4.25)
Light body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Dry, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
This was a really good beer. Better than I thought I would be. (Overall - 4.00)

Bottle bought in San Francisco. Pours golden with fast-settling head and a very faint haze. Aromas of lemony funk with hints of pineapple and melon. Body is lightly lemony-tart, dry-sweet and dry-grassy bitter, more Bretty farmyard, complex yet clean, almost *too* distinctively Farmhouse, but very tasty.
