Clear yellow/ light golden color. Scents of yeast, fruit & a slight sourness. Flavors of orange, fruity Belgian yeast, some hop bitterness. Light bodied & bubbly- a great summer beer! chrisv10 (18574) - DENMARK - MAY 20, 2012
Bottle, 2011 @ DØE Syd. Clear golden with medium white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, yeast, spices and a little hop. Flavour is malt, fruit, yeast, spices, little sweet, little citrus and a little bitter. keepersj12 (3137) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Very well done. This beer starts out with a week looking pale yellow color and a small head. I don’t give much credence to appearance though. The aroma has fruit and a bit of sourness. The flavor has a bit of lemon along with a touch of bread. Very crisp and clean. Finishes quite dry and refreshing. kerenmk (5269) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAY 19, 2012
Bottle sample at a tasting at DSG’s place. Thanks DSG. Hazy pale golden, frothy white head. Smells a little stale, a little like apple cider. Tastes mildly sour, then sweet. Light body, tangy, sweet finish that stays on the tongue for a while. Good. Thechasm442 (1006) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 18, 2012
2011 poured in a duvel tulip. Pours a hazy gold with a inch thick white head that lingers with ok lacing. Aroma is white grapes, yeast, and mild pepper. Reminds me of a pinot grigio. Taste is white grape, golden raisin, Belgian yeast, and some pepper. Thin mouthfeel with crisp carbonation. This beer resembles champagne. Not bad.

Bottle shared at a tasting at home. Clear golden with a frothy white head. Fruity aroma, pretty funky, with some yeast. Flavor has light sweetness, mild sourness, yeast, light grainy notes, nice fruitiness and a dry finish. Medium-bodied. Quite pleasant. saxo (19530) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAY 18, 2012
Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, yeast, malt and hops. Sweet and medium carbonated. dagimp (1008) - Philly, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 14, 2012
Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip. 2012 vintage bottled in Feb or March of 12. Pours with an inch of very light white frothy head. Head rapidly disappears into nothingness leaving no lacing. Very nice aromas of grapes, leaves and agave syrup. Mouthfeel is very light with a touch of tingle from the abundant carbonation. Taste is very much like the bottle says, champagne. Tastes of grapes, grass, funk and ginger. Overall, I liked this beer. Glad I bought a four pack so I can try another and then another two a few years out. tool2scream (188) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 13, 2012
CHAMPAGNE BARREL VERSION: Nice clean flavors on this beer. It is a little sweet and cloys a bit, you can definitely tell it has been aged. The champaigne comes across and compliments the light, clean fruity flavors very well. I really enjoyed this beer a lot. TheHopster (1111) - Netcong, New Jersey, USA - MAY 11, 2012
On draft at the Morris Tap & Grill. A nice looking unfiltered pale golden yellow. The flavor is well described commercially by the brewery. Glad to see Goose Island finally available in NJ!
