Spiced aroma. Hazy gold in color. Moderately sweet orange taste with complex spice tones and slight wood and wine notes. Anova167 (369) - Manhattan Beach, California, USA - MAR 9, 2012
One of the few beer of this sort available in 12oz bottle four pack. Aroma is Belgian yeasty spiciness and subtle fruitiness. Flavor is more this spice but with a interesting almost bubblegum flavor. A little tart and funky note comes in later. Smooth finish. Nice beer. Svesse (8580) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAR 5, 2012
(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity, spicy nose with notes of tropical fruit, grass, hay, pineapple, spicy hops and a touch of yeast. Malty, fruity taste with grass, bread, tropical fruit and a generous grassy bitterness in a finish with a touch of sweetness. Medium body, mainly dry but with some sweetness in the finish. A solid and well made saison with a touch of triple. Very nice. sm5561 (118) - Kansas City, Alabama, USA - MAR 4, 2012
Pours a murky gold with very little white head. Very light aroma. Nice saison flavor with orange, spice and some earthiness. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - MAR 4, 2012
Bottle shared by Lagunitasfan. Thanks TIm! It pours a nice golden color with a white head. The aroma is fruity with apricots, orange, mild spice and whiffs of brett. The flavor is the same with a nice citric tartness. Very nice subdued bretty finish. Theres some funk and Belgian yeast spiciness in there as well. I was pleasantly surprised by this one, as it had kinda fallen off my radar. I would buy this again.

On tap at Dexters. Not impressed by how out looks but I like the flavor. Good profile and easy drinking. Lagunitasfan (1323) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 26, 2012
In the garage with Joenugs. Light golden amber with light haze. Great funky light citrus and yeast. Beautiful and light. Spicy and citrus. Lovely. Lots of movement between spices and funk and tart and golden happiness. White wine and champagne. Just lovely. Must run to bottle shop to get more at $8.49 while still in stock. From notes. First reviewed 4/23/2010. Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Bottle date 12/11/2009.
Sofie has a very hazy golden yellow color, with a 1 inch head with large bubbles. Some refreshing carbonation visibly rising from the bottom. Decent head retention.
Herbal and earthy aromas, with some citrus rind. Yeast and pepper notes as well. Complex aroma.
Biscuity malt and yeast flavors up front, with a dry sweetness that reminds me of white grape skin. A spicy peppery flavor comes in toward the end, with an grassy oiliness. There is a slightly tart aftertaste. Nuanced and very pleasant.
Average carbonation, slightly dry feel. Slightly grainy.
Sofie is deceptively complex. I enjoyed the mild but complex taste. An easy drinker.

Golden pour with a large white head. Citrus and yeast aroma. Crisp tart fruit, orange, lemon, dry wine like finish. Fantasic beer that pairs well with sushi. QuezXLV (423) - Virginia, USA - FEB 20, 2012
This one is very tart and sweet. There was a lot of head, especially when I first opened the bottle. This one is a bit too tart for my taste.
