Wow! Talk about refreshing! Perfect combination of Malt and hop balance. Great color and the lemony flavor makes for a very refreshing summertime brew. Good work on this one!

Now this is a good sipper in the hot humid midwest summer. Pours an orange color, cloudy, nice little white head floats on top, sticks to upper lip until licked off. smells like cereal malts, good floral hops, and slight fruit. Flavor is citrusy with a hint of coriander or something similar, nice creamy body, yet still light enough to enjoy as a quencher. Very good.

Bottle. Aroma almost champagne-like with light fruits abound, a sweetish (for lemon), gourmet candy-like lemon, pale/wheaty malts, just enough hops to sense them, and surprisingly a pleasant, carressing touch of alcohol. Flavor continues along the same lines, bittering hops come out more in a supporting role, but a very strong supporting role. Again, nice light fruit presence. Obviously very drinkable, and so very, very tasty. 3.13...bah!

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2010 Very Happy with this seasonal beer, and another great product of Goose Island Brewery in Chi Town! Pours a cloudy, golden yellow. Aroma is citrus, orange and lemon. Taste is citrus and orange, smooth refreshing finish.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. There is no mention of abv% but the back label does have a bottled on date of 04/07/10.

Appearance: Its body has a light yellow gold color with great clarity. On top of the body is a small white creamy head. The head fades fast and makes only a very little slick lacing.

Smell: The aroma has nice sweet bready notes with delicate fruity esters. I get notes of peach, banana and white grape.

Taste/Palate: I get all the same delicate fruitiness and mellow bready sweetness in the flavor as I did in the aroma. This light bodied beer has mild carbonation and a smooth light texture which is quite quaffable.

Notes: This is defiantly a great hot weather offering with enough interest for me to drink it any time of the year.
