On cask at Clybourn. Black color with a beige head. Some roasted aroma, malty sweet. Chocolate flavors, roasted, lightly sweet, milky, nice chocolate bitterness. Pretty decent. NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 24, 2007

Tap @ Clyborn. A milk-chocolaty, lactosey sweet stout. Velvety mouthfeel. Chocolate/malt aroma. Good but not pushing any boundaries. igneous1 (1538) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - MAR 17, 2007
on tap at the Marcey St. location. Could not tell a significant difference between this beer and the rye stout I had prior to it. The aroma was chalky and roasty and the flavor was mild roast, light chocolate with a very creamy texture. nice stout.

On cask. I agree with alexanderj. The flavor was sweet and nice, with a good palate and finish. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - MAR 14, 2007
On cask. Poured a darkish brown; medium to large light brown head. Aroma of sugar and sweet chocolate. Flavor was about the same. Good body, dry finish. Very enjoyable. Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 7, 2007
On tap at StoutFest. Poured a darker brown with a loose-bubbled beige head. Heavily-roasted sweet milky sugars in the aroma, sweet and darker chocolates, and some espresso emerged with warmth. Flavor was quite enjoyable... sweet milky chocolate, a faint hint of citrus, and some dark fruit in there, all with a dry burnt roast to it. Medium-bodied... drier and refreshing.. left grainy chocolate notes at the long finish.
