at gi cly, pours murky amber with white head nose had a big fresh piney citrus and grapefruit flavor are sweet gooey resiny hops grapefruit mango heavy body that’s gooey sticky finish a bit raw earthy hop thing going on too. A bit all over the place and underattenuated but still pretty tasty. pantanap (3367) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 7, 2010
Tap at gi clybourn... Pours a mostly cloudy reddish caramel brown with a thin film of creamy white head... Resiny pine and assertive citus hop aroma backed up by a supporting malt bill. Hops prevail... Flavors maintain a hop/malt balance. Sweeter than expected actually with quite a bit of honey sacharine through the middle but still leaves a mild pithy hop finish. Can’t say I love it but probably better off for the combined blend. Almost like a hoppy barleywine in nature.
