Tasted on 1/4/12 on draft at the Clybourn Brewpub. Pours hazy burnt orange with a thin beige head that leaves nothing. The nose is herbal lemon with a touch of vanilla and caramel malt. The flavor is a bit more bitter, with the hops coming through as both orange and lemon. The body medium with average carbonation and a long herbal citrus and malty bitter finish. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - OCT 11, 2011
[Tap] Part of a sampler at GI-Clybourn in early September. Golden/orange pour with virtually no head to it. Nose is of Fruity Pebbles and tropical fruits. Floral taste is again mainly fruity, with yeast and astringent lemon zest coming forward. Light in body and mouthfeel. This one was odd. Not bad, but very different. Draft at Goose Island Clybourn. Pours an attractive gold that tends onto orange. Fluffy white head. The nose is kind of cool, shows a lot of graininess, pasta dough and a pillowy sort of creamsicle note. On taste, I actually am fond of this one. pineapples mixed with marshmallows, then the distinctive GI house Belgian yeast that plays very nicely here. Excellent balance of bitterness. I dunno, I kinda liked this one. chibuck (3521) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2011
draft at Clybourn... medium orange body not much to look at... boring nose, a bit of pineapple dough... just doesn’t taste good at all, very tea like, lots of floral notes... just a mess zebra (2383) - Illinois, USA - SEP 2, 2011

tap at the clybourn location. golden amber with a reddish hue. small white head. aroma of tropical fruit, pineapple, grassy hops in the finish. flavor adds some sweet biscuit to the subtle pineapple element. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - AUG 19, 2011
Draft on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a nice orange glowing hue, no real haze, with a decent frothy tannish head that dies to a small ring, faint lacing. Aromas are grainy, cereal malts, bread, and those wafer vanilla cookies. Touches of lemon, a touch spice. Some vanilla. A lot of cereal, rice krispies and some Froot Loops. Some light fruitiness. Initial is lighter bodied offering lemons, cereal grains, bread, touches of pineapple. Some decent pale malts, dry, with lingering sweet bread and fruits, lemon, touch of yeasty spice. Finish is bready, lingering sweetness, in particular, with a touch of lemons. It’s interesting, a bit strange, the grain choice definitely sticks out. drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 19, 2011
