UPDATED: MAR 19, 2014 Rich golden orange in the glass (slightly hazy). Smells like caramel biscuit. Thick and caramelly with grassy overtones and just the slightest touch of dark fruit. A surprising amount of carbonation. Further sipping reveals hints of pineapple and increasing bitterness. Very good. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - MAR 16, 2014
Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a creamy off white head that laced. Aroma of dark fruits, sweet caramel malt and citrusy hops. Flavor of sweet caramel malt, lightly citrusy hop and pine notes. Too sweet and malty for me. Some dank hop character as well. Had a deep copper glass from draft .. . medium foam .. . quite a malty dipa, light hoppiness .. . not what i was expecting from the goose .. . . everybody values honesty, until they have an ugly baby. Terminus (3702) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 15, 2014
Bottle-pours bright orange with a small soapy white head with sparse lacing. nose is massive-lots of tropical notes along with grapefruit, pineapple, lite resin, very sweet smelling (flowers). flavors of grapefruit (pink), pine, lite cleaner, cheese, speramint, and lots of tropical notes. flavors are pretty complex. reminds me alot of their old IIPA they used to make back before the AB buyout. long sweet citric finish with lingering grapefruit, pineapple, and fresh hops. a very solid IIPA! 2x12oz bottles poured into a man sized mug. Looks slightly hazed tangerine color with a decent sized white head that lasts. Aromas of citrus fruit, some pine sap. Taste is sweet upfront with a lasting bitter finish. Not much in the way of late addition hops hence no real juicy hop expression. Yet still, it is somewhat fruity in a semi-tangible way. Too much sweetness, too much Tylenol. It’s not a world beater, just an average DIPA.

pours a clear amber with a very small light tan head, and a little lacing.
smell is faint, some caramel, and hops come through.
taste is oily, hoppy, caramel, citrus, and a nice malt back. ends thick and a bitterness that grows as you drink. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAR 14, 2014
12-oz. Thanks J! Pours a crystal-clear pale amber with a dense and creamy white head. Big bright fresh grapefruit and tropical fruit notes on the nose. Light, fairly watery body with lively carb. Lightly toasted caramel with bright and tantalizing grapefruit and tropical fruit notes; crisp and refreshing finish. Shaunmaloney (42) - Kasson, Minnesota, USA - MAR 14, 2014
Tap at Binkies in tulip. Hop is subtle almost too subtle. Great balance and finishes better than any ipa I have had this year. Its not hopslam, but it isn’t far behind. Goose small batch continues to impress. Will have another. Cheers!
