Bottle from Brook Falls Discount. No bottle date, so no idea how old. Pours golden orange with a high foamy white head leaving a lot of lace. Aroma has tropical fruit, pineapple, and sweet caramel with a bit of pepper. Later down in the glass the honey really kicks in. Taste is led by sweet caramelly malts, with pineapple, mangoes, honey, pine and some alcohol. Medium boided and sticky. Finishes nicely blended between bitter and sweet, with length, and some of the pepper showing in the late finish. Goose’s homage to Hopslam? Perhaps 80+% of that super quality brew, and overall a solid tasty offering. 14.8 TattooJack (518) - Illinois, USA - DEC 3, 2014
Four pack into the pint glass, nice orange foamy glass of beer. Lacing to the tune of 6 drinks per pint. Very nice, I lived in the neighborhood of FLW which is Riverside, IL and this beer has the creativity of his architecture. Very unassumingly strong, before you know it all 4 bottles are gone. On tap at Dixie. Murky golden Amber pour with a white head. Pine resin hop aromas. Lots of malty notes with tangy grapefruit and mineral hop notes. Good body and mouthfeel.

Bottle from State Line. Bottles in Feb and consumed in Nov. I guess that is my fault and State Lines fault. . Cloudy straw pour with smallish head but good lacing. The aroma is sweet citrus. Sweet. I wonder if my bottle is old or if this beer is just really susceptible to aging. Sweet with hop flavors of citrus, resin, but not much kick. It tastes like it would be better if fresher. I rated it higher than I otherwise would have because of the age, which I won’t hold against the brewer. Palidor19 (3188) - Brandon, Florida, USA - NOV 23, 2014
It's a dipa for the serious beer drinker, it focus more on the deep malt while having a hops wallop. Enjoy this beer, don't waste

Draft @ WOB, RSW. Hoppy aroma. Rusty orange color. Hoppy flavor, little citrusy. Full bodied. Nice DIPA! mensch (289) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - NOV 10, 2014
The aroma is more like a smooth, almost bland, Sullivan than knock-your-socks-off Gaudi or sock-you-in-the-eye Gehry that I usually expect from a DIPA. The malt flavor is dominant and quite tasty like Calatrava, and well-structured like another Chicago favorite, Mies van der Rohe. Excellent, an Eiffel, not transcendent, like a Le Corbusier.
