Surprised I’m number ten on this one. Draft at Mekong. Medium amber, clear, great head. I was looking for something to destroy my palate after doing the tasting part of BJCP, and this did the trick fairly well. Aroma was pure hops, loads of grapefruit, pine, tropical fruit. Flavor was a match, with a good malt backbone to keep things together. Not as scrubbing with the hops as expected, the bitterness was in check. Well balanced. Very nice IIPA. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - JUL 12, 2013
I personally would not call it a DIPA but this really tastes good. The mixture of Citra and Meridian work well together. Definitely citrus forward and a strong with bitterness but it does not ruin the palate at all. Good carbonation too. conway (2210) - - JUL 23, 2013
Draft. Clear gold with a thin white head. Nose is piney and resinous hops. Taste follows suit with solid malt backup. Finishes very clean. This is one of the better Goose Island offerings I've had.

Draft. Loads of pine and citrus with a huge caramel malt backbone. Very good, although a bit boozy. Bebum (990) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 15, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 7, 2014 Medium copper, clear, avg lacing.
Full body, well balanced mouthfeel, with alcohol, sweetness, flavor, body and bitterness in proportion to each other, long aftertaste.
This beer best quality are its complex and intense hop flavors, which include floral and herby notes. Rich malty background.

On tap at Sugar Maple. Clear amber with a thin off-white sticky head. Aroma is tropical with mango, toffee, pine and grapefruit. Taste is sweet and tropical with mango, pineapple, caramel, bready malt and a moderate bitter finish. PorterPounder (7965) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 28, 2014
Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Bright, sparkling light copper pour, sticky snow white head, nice lacing. Aroma has some cat urine essence, very resiny and warming. Flavor is full-bodied and delicious with heavy doses of maple syrup sweetness, some mango fruitiness, just the right amount of citrus bitterness. Chewy, sticky mouthfeel. An enjoyable diversion. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - MAR 13, 2014
Pours clear amber with a nice off white lacing head. Aroma is malty caramel hoppy piny citric fruity. Flavor as aroma, great bitter piny resin bite with a longlived grapefruit piny finish. Ratman197 (14826) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAR 18, 2014
Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel, pine, orange zest, pink grapefruit and light tangerine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, pine, grapefruit and light orange zest with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish. Homer321 (5070) - Melboring, Florida, USA - MAR 20, 2014
bottle. bottled on 2/18 or so. about a month rotted. Holy cloudy murky orange pour with no head. didn’t expect that from AB InGoose. nose of pungent Citra and dank hops. Not familiar with meridian hops though. Taste is kinda flat compared to the nose. maybe this is just too cold. Kinda thin mouthfeel, which is fine, but honestly, not much hop flavor. I really wanted that nose to come through in the flavor, but it just doesn’t. A light orange and citrus comes through as it warms. maybe I should go drink a can of something else while this warms...
ok so I came back to this and I still feel that the hop flavor is lacking for a DIPA. Solid beer without fault, just needs more hop flavor. also, as the beer warms clarity improves greatly. must be just chill haze.
