Sampled while I’m pouring GI at Blarney Stone’s Brew Fest. This assaults my nose right away with the big piney catbox smell of big American hops. Then a big malty smack in the face that stands up to the extreme bitter these hops put down. Thick malty mouthfeel, and you can sense the alcohol doing its dirty work. Alternating between sipping this and BCS. Life is good.

Third beer on my second flight in Devilicious, Temecula California on 10th Feb 2017. Mini haze to the golden pour, the head an off-white affair. Hoppy nose with the Citra hops doing what they do. Light copper color with a smallish ecru head. Full aroma, with citrus, pine, honey, pale malts, hints of alcohol and ripe fruit. Bubblegum sweet start. Hops and grains mingle. Some spice and light licorice. Solid feel. This is not a brew that I could have more than one. Seems to beg to be paired with food. 4/14

Keg Half Pint at White Horse American Beer Festival 2016, Parsons Green, London in July 2016 - Orangey Gold in colour. Good off-white head. Excellent lacing. Very Fruity; citrus orange and tropical fruits. Hoppy; piney resinous hops. Malty; sweet malts, caramel. Sweet-bitter fruity hoppy throughout. Nice Impy IPA! (2016-07-02)

Thin light beige head of fine bubbles with decent carbonation. Rich malty aroma with lots of sweet caramel, fresh laundry, fresh pumpkin, piney hops and some toffee. Color is a hazy dark copper. A lot more hops presence in the flavor. Lots of piney hops, mild malts, cough syrup and tea leaves. Bit thin in the body and the result is a pretty hot brew. Well alright, FINNALY a place in Delaware had the real thing. Stores out here had some Goose Island beers, but when I looked on the label it was brewed and bottle in New York. Bought a 6 pack and no where near the taste of the original Goose Islands. Now I went in a store in town and they had the real McCoy, brewed and bottled back in sweet home Chicago. I hope that they continue to carry the real thing .I live 10 miles from the Dogfish brewery, not I’ll have a pick n choose option between brew from two great brewery’s.
