Drank on tap on St Patty’s 2012 -- Standard drinking pale. There is a lingering bitterness. hooray for that. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 2, 2012
Draught at Goose Island Clybourn, Chiciago. Clear amber - white head. Caramel, butterscotch, light fatness, ok hoppy noes, sweetness, red berries, light bitterness, a bit too sweet. FURLYSURIOUS (263) - Orono, Minnesota, USA - MAR 22, 2012
Fantastic beer to be had on cask. It pours a deep amber with a finger of consistent eggshell white head. Very inviting citrus, combined with an earthy and herbal hop underbite. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for something new from Goose. It’s not too bitter, not too sweet, a wonderful mix of everything that represents a quality IPA on cask. crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 20, 2012
On cask, uncarbonated, warm, a very nice and fruity APA, one of the better ones I have had. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAR 15, 2012
Flight on tap at the Clybourn brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours an orange deep glow, touches of haze and a distinct pinkish hue. Bigger cakey whitish head is firm and sticks around, laces well. Aromas are zesty grapefruit rind, fruit, and florals. Touches of citrus, lemon, earthy grass. Touches of sweetness, gum ball, Amarillo distinct qualities. Touches of bread and pale malts, soap. Ininitial is firm in body, nut lighter, with a rich Amarillo experience. Citrusy grapefruit is dominant with lemon, touches of orange and bubblegum, pale malts, bread. Refreshing dryness, middle shows touches of pale malts, bread and a dry light citrusy liveliness. Pleasant fresh grapefruit, dry bitterness, pale malts. Really nice in my eyes.

On tap from the front bar at the Wrigleyville brewpub. An active pour that finally settled to a bright and clear golden tone, with fairly lasting, off white head froth, and wavey cling to the lacing. The aroma was mild and mainly resiny pine, with just a little white grapefruit toward the back. The flavor presented some smooth malt to compliment, but highlighted an expressive hop bitterness that lingered to the end with some finishing dryness. Medium bodied, lively carbonated, and clean, this Pale was uncomplicated and nicely drinkable.
