On tap at Clybourn location: Clear dark copper amber with a pillowy froth of off-white head. Aroma of big fresh floral hops and some spicy rye. Starts with light melon flavor and faint pale malty sweetness quickly drying out before a zesty rye bitter finish. A pretty crisp and drinkable pale ale. jthieling (2) - USA - JUN 27, 2010 does not count
I found this wonderful beer to have an excellent rye color, and a very smooth taste. Fairly light on the palate, and easily drinkable. The rye malt adds a touch of bitterness. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 25, 2010
Tap at goose... Pours a golden orange brown with a thin frothy white head... Aroma of non-assertive grassy and a tangerine type of citrus.... Flavors start on an earthy tea-like bent with a mild sweet citrus component and finishes a but on a the dry bitter citrus rind and grassy side. A little more sweetness could have helped.
