On tap at Clayborn pub. Quite clear pour for a Wit with a small white head. malt and Coriander in the aroma carries to the taste. Very low bitterness and almost no aftertaste. Quite a nice refreshing summer beer. j12601 (10992) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - APR 29, 2010
On tap at Goose Island Clybourn. Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Nose is full of citrus and light coriander. Nice crisp wheat flavors. Good clean citrus on the finish. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 22, 2006
On tap at GI Clybourn. Poured a hazy medium amber with a darker middle.. short white head. Nose was very mild, with light wheat and non-distinct yeast... almost approaching pale lager. Sweet malts in the flavor.. light sour highlights from the wheat.. caramel. Light-bodied, almost watery. This was non-offensive, but really had nothing going for it. luckily i ordered a 5oz sample of this and wasn’t charged for it. It was really malty for a wheat beer. it’s not great good and borderlines on bad. sersdf (1020) - chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 16, 2006

I wasn’t expecting much from this one, and I got no surprises. Cloudy with low head. Slightly bitter and with a slight dry finish. It’s a simple wheat beer with a smooth flavor. I didn’t notice at the time, but I could pick out the banana flavor that everyone else is talking about. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 4, 2006
Clybourn. Wierd that they should have 2 american wheats on tap, but both were pretty good. THis one is a bit deeper gold than the urban wheat. Aroma is a bit more intense wheat, a touch more hoppiness, and a bit fruitier, but still no clove or banana like a german wheat. Flavor is a bit more pronounced due to the bigger body and higher abv than the urban wheat. Wheat, bready, slighty citrus, lightly herbal and somewhat sweet, but finishes nice and crisp. Tap at Clybourn: Golden hue with small fizzy head and little lace. The aroma has noted of lemon and lemongrass, light toasted malts, buttery, and dusty esters. Mild citric twang with noted of apple and lemon. Chalky and bready background. A straight forward American wheat ale. Watery and clean, fizzy feel. Argggh, yet another so-so American wheat. Go down to Piece for some real Weizens! badgerben (5121) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - APR 18, 2005
Yellow color with no head. Slightly sour wheat aroma. Very watered down wheat taste with not much showing up. robertsreality (2460) - Minnesota, USA - APR 18, 2005
Light Gold Coloring with White Skin. Wheat and Hop Aroma. Lemon...Sweet Malt and ALOT of Wheat Flavor.....Hop Dry Ending. Sweet Overall. A Bit Unbalanced with So Much Wheat Coming Out. Still Enough Reasons to Find it Enjoyable.
