Sample at the Columbus brewpub. Hazy straw color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Spotty lacing. Tart citrus, wheat and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, yeast, wheat and doughy malt. The finish is mildly tart with a citrusy aftertaste. Decent overall. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 27, 2009
(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of pumpkin spice, apple, nutmeg, cinnamon, and wheat. Flavor of apple, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Refreshing. wetherel (1888) - Cupertino, California, USA - OCT 24, 2008
draft. Oh my gosh. What an awesome beer. Sweet and sour. Light yellow color. Super easy to drink. Like beer candy. BDR (2535) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - OCT 12, 2008
GABF 2008. A pale yellow color like i’d expect from a berliner weisse. This was the most flavorful berliner weisse I’ve ever tried. Sour wheat to be sure, but faint apple cinnamon as well.
