From tap in Pasadena. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Mild hops and biscuit malty aroma. Flavour is light metallic, alcohol dense and also hoppy. Ends dry and warming alcoholic. Ungstrup (38413) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 6, 2008
Draft at the Pasadena location. A dark golden beer with a thin white head. THe aroma is sweet and very malty combined with notes of caramel. The flavor very sweet and malty again with notes of caramel, but also alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Too simple for a bock. anders37 (27062) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAR 9, 2009

Clear golden. Disturbingly neutral aroma. Sweet and reasonably malty. There’s a vague hint of the dense, near dusty malt character that I find so attractive in the best pale bocks. This is very light flavourwise.
Draught at the brewpub in Las Vegasrlgk (18844) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 3, 2008
Golden color. Light fruity-malty aroma. Some malt taste, some sweetness, warming alcohol perception. Not bad, but...
Draught at Dulles International Airport, Washington. Amber/orange color, small offwhite head. Malty, fruity aroma. Malty flavor, some fruits, some spices. Quite mild finish. bhensonb (15758) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 14, 2007
Clean aroma of hop and fruit. Also a bit like mineral spirits. Light orange gold color, and a white head that dissipated. Actually does seem to be a bit of apple as the liquid approaches the mouth. Medium mouthfeel. A bit creamy, low carbonation. Thins a bit as apple? and malt develop. Followed by some heavy alcohol effect, if not taste, and more sweetness. The finish is fairly dry, and the bitter is faintly reminiscent of pilsener hop. But the sweet malt lingers in the corners. Maybe this is balanced. Certainly the start is "rich, malty". djd07 (15544) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 16, 2009
Bottle. Pours a orange copper with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is a fruity malt with clove and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with a dry malt with caramel and mollasses. Easy to drink a good bock from GB.
