From tap at the San Francisco location. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light grassy. Sweet and crisp malt flavoured. Light bitterness and grassy flavoured. Bitter, light and dry finish. Ungstrup (37303) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 7, 2006
[At the DC location] A light yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a hoppy note - though not very Saaz like. The flavor is sweet malty with a hoppy note - again my guess is that it is not Saaz. The end is dry. Travlr (24307) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 22, 2014
Boy, does this one bring back childhood memories. The drinking age in New York was 18, I could get served at age 13, Son of Sam was stalking the city, and this was about the only thing we had too cool us off - especially when the big power failure hit. Don’t know where I’d find it these days. fiulijn (20411) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 30, 2012
Draught at the brewpub on Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NVsaxo (18208) - Hřjbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2012
Hazy golden color; creamy head. The aroma is mild, sweetish malty, more Lager than Pilsner. Maltish flavor, simple but not bad, with very light residual sweetness; correct bitterness.
More than drinkable.
Tap @ the brewpub, Seattle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, hops, butter and grass.

Biersch, Downtown Seattle
Deep golden color, small white head, lace. Buttery, light Saaz aroma. Light-bodied. Sweetish malty, some butterscotch, light Saazer bitterness. Could have a bit more bitterness. Short grassy aftertaste.
Sample. Golden with small white head. Flavour is malt, fruit and a little hops. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 11, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2014 First time I had this at the now-defunct Miami location, it was positively awful. I re-rated it in Honolulu. Slight haze, light gold, highly effervescent. Has a moderate hop nose and bitterness, with well-balanced pale malt base. Touch of yeast in the finish. Good. Just shows how far behind GB’s standards that Miami branch really was. brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 31, 2014
On tap @ Gordon Biersch San Jose. Clear orange pour with a white read. A rather bready and sugary nose, which is not quite what I was hoping for. A lot of apple, pear, and toasted grain. The flavor is kinda hoppy, I guess. Some decent enough grass notes. Mildly floral. A lot of bread and sweet cereal grains otherwise. Meh. MiP (15650) - Sřnderborg, DENMARK - OCT 22, 2011
Draught, 5.6% at the brewpub. Not much aroma. The flavour starts off with a bready maltiness, medium bitterness. Some paper in the finish. Very subtle aroma hop flavour. Not the best example of the Czech pilsener style, but not a bad beer.
