When I first saw it I thought it was a porter. But with it's light taste I knew it was a lager. Nice brown color with a good tan head. Light and smooth. Not a bad beer. MrRomero (1976) - Nolanville, USA - JUL 8, 2004
On tap at the Honolulu location: Listed as 5.13% ABV. Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a medium beige head. Fruity flavor of grapes. Light malt aroma. Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 11, 2004
Not bad. On tap at Whitby, On. location. Deep brown colour, large tanned head. Nice slightly hoppy aroma. Love the cloudy, dirty look to this beer. Taste is a little less interesting, but surprisingly thin given the look. Decent finish. Probably the best beer of I’ve here so far. BennyTicklez (621) - USA - JAN 26, 2005
Pours brownish/ purple. Tiny head. No outstanding aroma or flavor going on. Light malt. No harsh flavors. Drinkable, but not overly enjoyable. frankR (149) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 6, 2005
Dry, pale and rather flavorless at Gordon Biersch San Jose. I think their Marzen is better.
