Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Smells sweet with a hint of brown sugar. Taste is semi sweet with a mild bready yeast taste. Leaves an unpleasant aftertaste of sweet and funk. Easy drinking but not a whole lot of character.
Tap. Brownish gold color. Sweet aroma. Some light toffee but otherwise grainy as hell. Not sure why this style doesn’t thrill me as much as I’d think it would. This is rather mediocre. PugUglyBrewer (742) - - APR 27, 2017

Draught from GB’s in Xin Yi. Aroma: cherries, tobacco, caramel, it smells delicious. Appearance: medium brown, opaque with minimal head. Palate: full bodied, quite a thick texture, average carbonation, a complex and satisfying, tasty finish. Taste: sweet, predominently caramel, plus lightly bitter. Well-balanced, I really enjoyed it. Sample on tap @ the brew house restaurant in Baltimore, MD. Pours a deep rusty orange with a thin white ring. Not much aroma but big on flavor. Nice caramel malty taste. Pretty enjoyable.

From a bottle into a Free State beer glass. Pours amber with small head and lace. Aroma of roasty malts, caramel, grains. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Tapped out deep amber. 18ºSRM.
Nose has some sweet, alcoholic, phenolic aromas. Beery and just happy with the promise of a proper Munic welcome. There is some fresh nut aroma in the nose as well. Very very welcoming.
Mouthfeel is soapy., Palate has ample roasted malt with dark wheat toast, caramel, toasted almonds and hazelnuts. Some raw walnut body, especially in the tail end of the palate. No hops.
The finish is so very very pleasant and very smooth. For an airport tap, this was likely one of my more memorable experiences! Why? It had a full-bodied malty backbone, some clean bitter hops and enough alcohol to round off the entire palate with some faint stone fruit sweetness and fruitiness,
