From a sampler at the Gordon Biersch DC location on September 4th, 2005. Dark brown to black bodied. Roasty malts and light coffee. Some faint smoky notes and caramel.Taste has roasty malts, light coffee, dark chocolate and hints of cocoa. Body is medium-full with medium carbonation. Finishes roasty and sweet. I liked this best of the sampler and purchased a pint of this afterwards.

Quite roasty aroma. This definitely is the most complex of the beers I’ve had from these guys. Roasty and a bit heavier; not amazing but good. Still light enough to have a few. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 6, 2010
(draught) medium clear brown with decent tan bubbles around the edges. Nose of lightly sweet brown sugar, mild watery coffee, touch of smoke, and some cereal grains. Taste of cereal grain, watery coffee, a touch of smoke, and light brown sugar. Hate to repeat the Mose but it tasted exactly like i expected after smelling it. Light body and lots of flavor for the style. sonnycheeba (5988) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 17, 2012
