With its dark-as-night packaging, Gordon Finest Chrome has all the coolness of a Scottish loch. Its authentic, thoroughbred taste brusque in the attack, but then warm on the palate exudes appeal. This is a wild, robust beer, weighing in at 10.5% alcohol by volume, whose genuine, bold character fascinates, as it brings a breath of the moors to the heart of urban life and draws on its traditional qualities to create a contemporary feel. Gordon Finest Chrome is the heir to a magnificent past all the better to put you in touch with the future.

Pours fizzy clear golden, very short-lived white head. Aroma is mild: raw alcohol, wet bread, grass, a tinge of cucumber (yes). Powerful and alcoholic, it starts rather sweetish, then develops a sticky feeling that wont leave. Rather low-lingering finish, with more wet bread sensations. Its never as bad as the Titanium though -at least I could drink half this one (before throwing the other half away.)

Can - clear orangey yellow. Thin looking with marginal white head. Decent aroma, ok in mouth and tongue. Problems start wih taste - high alcohol and lasting in mouth - too lagerish for me.

Can at home . Smell is nothing at all . The can may just as well be filled with water here . Taste is super-boozy , metallic, harsh dryness (sugar plays a part in this , but is most definatly joined by other chemicals I dont even wanna know about . No real other aspects than metallic boozyness . Awefull- as to be expected from Gordon ... If Id ever be homeless , I still would not drink this shit ... damn .

Birra liquorosa.gi dagli odori, di caramello, frutta e qualche spezia. In bocca il.malto la fa da padrone, con una chiusura secca ma non necessariamente secca. Alcool poco nascosto, poco corpo e birra poco strutturata per il genere.

Kita (2069) - Koper, SLOVENIA - OCT 5, 2014
Can, 0.50l, shared with friends. Clear deep golden color with small frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, cordial and alcohol. Tastes sweet caramelly with strong alcoholic mouthfeel and almost no bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture and soft carbonation in palate. Slightly more palatable than Titanium...
