There can be a little too much alcohol in a beer for it to handle. Just... a tad too much, and a little short on character.

Hansen (8612) - Assentoft, DENMARK - FEB 4, 2011
Lots of alcohol, some malt and then almost nothing. Golden colour and clear, has a white head, medium duration. Aroma is sweet and alcohol. Heavy sweet flavor, finish unpleasent with alcohol.

Zita (6331) - Assentoft, DENMARK - FEB 4, 2011
alcoholic aroma, golden, clear, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, oily feel, alcoholic finish.

Madonna che tragedia questa birra, alcol all’aroma, alcol in bocca, ho decisamente buttato tutto nel lavandino dopo tre sorsi...Dire sbilanciata è poco...

Bottle. Frothy white virtually none fully deminishing head. Dark yellow colour. moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter totally off flavor. Average ugly finish. Watery palate. Total drain pour but it didnt smell bad.

bottle thanks to bu11zeye. poured yellow with a white head. nose is fruits, sweet malts, and light spices. thick on the palate, heavy musk, spices, big yeast flavor, and a slight alcohol finish.

bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - OCT 29, 2010
(330ml bottle) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of honey, cereal, and alcohol. Flavor of honey, cereal , alcohol, and grass with a somewhat metallic finish.

fugitive (2028) - Athens, GREECE - OCT 28, 2010
Bottle 330ml. Color orange with small head. Aroma caramel, alcohol, flower. Taste sweet, caramel, alcohol.

thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 24, 2010
(33cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear pale yellow with just a few bubbles hanging around, expected at 12%. Nose of honey, caramel, and apple. Taste of toasty caramel, grain, alcohol and honey. The alcohol really lingers on this one. The force carbonation is evident and annoying.

12HundredBaud (262) - Sausalito, California, USA - OCT 24, 2010
Bottle from a beer fair in Girona. It pours a clear golden liquid, with no foam. The aroma is boozy, but less than Finest Golden despite being 12%; there is a balanced mixture of hops and malt, but a little too sweet (caramel). It tastes accordingly to the aroma: hops, malt, alcohol (but nicely hidden) and a good deal of sweetness. It is a strong beer, but somehow it lacks taste, though. It is lowly carbonated and it has a low bitter finish, with a very sweet aftertaste. I wouldn’t recommend this one; it resembles too much its "Golden sister", with subtle differences. Not a very good beer (platinum??? boh).
