330ml bottle poured into a tulip glass. Clear deep mahogany color with reddish hues and a decent off white head. Sweet nose, caramel, sugar, some malt, faint floral notes. Sweetish malt flavors, lo bitterness, lots of caramel and light toffee notes. alcohol is present. Medium bodied, somewhat medicinal, OK at best.

Helder roodbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is sterk en licht kruidig, caramel en drop. Blijft helaas niet lang hangen.

Ambar oscura, cobriza. Aroma a malta y caramelo. Sabor algo metlico y bastante alcohlico en lo negativo, y caramelizada y lupulada en lo bueno. En conjunto no est mal, para comer. Sola puede resultar bastante cansina.

On tap at a restaurant in Genoa. Pours red/brown with a small off white head. Aroma is spiced, malt, and caramel. Medium sweetness, somewhat tart bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture. Heavy going really and seems to punch above its abv - would perhaps work better on a park bench than with good Italian food...

SWEET initially, malt way up front & sugary with hops on the distant hillside waving as if to say we may be there eventually. Adult candy - tricked or treated? Not really unpleasantly sweet, but edging up to it. Perhaps ever so slightly better than Im implying, but not by a great measure. (and unlike the % listed here, this bottle says 6.6%)

Shiney red-amber beer with small ivory colored head. The smell is slight sweet, malty, nutty and has a faint spicy accent in the aroma. The taste is smooth, light sweet with some caramel notes. Also touches of nuts and the bitterness of nut-peel. It has hints of sugared ginger, and some bitter herbs. The aftertaste reminds me a bit of SUZE = a Frensh apperitief.

From a 50cl cann. Intens warm amber color with small light beige head. Sweet caramel nose with light malty accent and some alcohol sweetness in the" smell. Taste is light malty and on the sweet side, the body is a bit thin and in the afthertaste there is a slight metallic accent with a fait alcohol bitterness.

(Can 50 cl) Clear and very dark amber golden with a small, off-white head. Odd, perfumy nose. Medium body with sweet, malty accents and - again - perfume. Very alcoholic finish. Odd, but not that bad. 130806

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, reddish amber colour with a delicate, creamy, beige head that leaveas a pretty curtain of laces. Aroma of malt and alcohol. Full-bodied with a very sugary sweetness. Some slightly perfumy, fruity notes are hiding in the flavour making this a rather unusual strong lager. Rather discreet bitterness. 240106
